Two weeks in a row for features in @pelliclemag.com. I had a lovely day trip to photograph this story by Anthony Bennett.

"Great Yarmouth, like many British seaside towns, is all too often associated with poverty...however, this is a place that’s home to friendly, welcoming people, with a gentle—if sardonic—sense of humour. A session in the Red Herring re-enforces this impression." www.pelliclemag.com/home/2026/10...

I thoroughly enjoyed getting Jack's perspective on Zoigl for my article for @pelliclemag.com earlier this year. I mean, how many other people can boast having visited more than 4000 drinking establishments across Europe? He def has a few points of comparison. 🍻🍻

I'm delighted to share an interview I did with Franz aka @tempestinatankard.bsky.social He has collected thoughts and insights from various contacts on the appeal of the Zoiglstube 🇩🇪🍻 I defy you to read this and not want to book the next flight out there 👍 tempestinatankard.com/2026/10/14/w...

I really enjoyed editing this piece, which I did while I was in the process of replaying Bloodborne, so if you spot a Yharnam instead of Yarmouth, that’s my bad.

Next Tuesday? 6 am? Might be frost. Drag. Totes draggy. Just 144 hours to make sure I put in 97 minutes worth of effort to cover the tomato patches. Max. Will I make it? These are the concerns of the day. Welcome to October. Here’s the news…

This was a really interesting read, mostly because whilst in Manchester last Thursday, I decided that I actually don't really like going to Cafe Beermoth and that i should stop including it on my usual Manchester pub route. It's good to hear a well-made counterpoint.

I had a really great couple of days in Nottingham when I went to shoot this weeks @pelliclemag.com feature. One of the highlights was making my way up to Daybrook and the Abdication micropub opposite the old Home Ales building. Here’s a few of my favourite shots from that visit.

Anyone who enjoys their beer and pub culture should read this great article, especially if you've been to the great city of Nottingham. If you're yet to visit the city, it's probably time to go and use this as a bit of a guide 🍻

Fantastic article about the Nottingham beer scene by Pete Blackburn in @pelliclemag.com today. I spent a couple of days there last month taking the photos which included getting out to some suburbs (inc the fantastic Abdication micropub) and loved every minute. www.pelliclemag.com/home/2026/9/...
