Boosting because my father's undiagnosed sleep apnea (for 30+ years!) was passed off as "he's just a loud snorer!" yet led to severe heart problems and cognitive impairment. Get checked! Snoring for long periods is NOT NORMAL.

Hey remember a couple months ago when I almost died from sleep apnea and begged y'all to be checked if you have symptoms of sleep apnea? Eric Bauza just died from sleep apnea. We were the same age. Don't ignore sleep apnea.

Structurally there's no reason for this at all. The Olympics manages to have men's and women's events side by side. World athletics does too. But in team sports and many other areas there's this insistence that any women's event that happens must compete with rather than run united with men's events

What's striking to me are the rules of engagement and the methodology of action here, which more or less is predicated on burying liberal delusions about "debate" or the "marketplace of ideas". The rules were ultimately very simple: amplify your own message and suppress your opponent's.

This is a great look at how Israel's parliament functions (or doesn't). And for those of us who want electoral reform but always have Israel cited at us as an example of the dangers of PR, it also explains the real pitfalls and failures of their electoral system and how seats are apportioned.
