Kladně se ale k požadavku Francie postavilo Rusku nakloněné Slovensko, které požaduje, aby byl ze seznamu vyškrtnut i jeden z nejbohatších Rusů Michail Fridman. Lucembursko případný souhlas s vyškrtnutím Usmanova také podmiňuje vyškrtnutím Fridmana, ovšem stávající prodloužení nevetovalo.
