You put Angel Reese in a potential championship deciding game opposite Days of Our Lives so Lu Dort can appear in primetime? These people are fucking idiots.

BREAKING: Game 6 of the WNBA Finals will be held Thursday at 12:30pm ET at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena, sources told ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne. It will be a double-header with the Atlanta Hawks’ game, which will be moved to 8pm.

100% all of this! "We Are Going to Take Their Shit" should be the rallying cry of a bold Democrat who wants to be President cause it'd immediately drown out every competitor in the field.

The most important political task in America is clawing back wealth from the very rich. The most important ballot measure in America is the California billionaire tax. Oligarchy is at the front door. Time to stop fucking around. www.hamiltonnolan.com/p/the-war-ag...

Today is a great day to remind all your non-political friends on Facebook that the longest-tenured Republican House Speaker sexually abused kids. Epstein Files didn't come out of nowhere.

Jeff Pagliocca mortgaged the Chicago Sky's future for nothing. He needs to be fired, but it will take years to dig out from his mistakes. I wrote about another lost year for the Sky + how they became the WNBA’s most hopeless franchise: www.sbnation.com/wnba/1126001...

Christ, these are 11 minutes of blood-boiling stuff. Jail. The people responsible must see the inside of a prison.

Since I praised my colleagues at NPR News for doing stories that might displease the Administration while under threat from them, I should and will extend the same admiration to the people at ABC News. abcnews.com/US/family-al...

Video of an ICE agent pulling a gun on a wife and mother, who is a US citizen born and raised in the area, near Bailey's Crossroads in Northern Virginia yesterday. Chillingly, they claimed she “almost ran them over” until she told them she had video proving that was a lie.

Merrill Lemons pitching 88 consecutive innings while complaining about these ditzy broads. LFG!!

your baseball pitcher name is your grandfather’s first name and the last thing you bought i’ll go first mine’s Dominic Sandals

Start here. I think people would be amazed at how much support there would be for public prosecutions of ICE agents and officials.

Radley Balko@radleybalko.bsky.social

I have a piece in the NYT today arguing that the law should permit victims of ICE abuse to sue not just individual officers, but supervisors and policymakers like Stephen Miller and Gregory Bovino. A Democratic president and Congress could do this in 2029. And they could make it retroactive.

As a society we must fully commit to the project of hunting down ICE agents and prosecuting them for the crimes they've committed. Roll them up on their superiors. I don't care if takes a hundred years and ppl are tried posthumously.

This is the least mysterious mystery ever: a corporation or rich person with business in front of the Trump administration set up an LLC to pay gas stations to sell cheap gas to make the President look good. It's all corruption. All the way down.

inquirer.comFreedom Fuel stations across the Philly region offer cheap gas, feature local owners, and raise ethical concernsThe Trump-promoted discount gas chain is run by local owners, but a lot remains unclear how they're selling cheaper fuel.

I know it was a long time ago, but does Wemby get hit with a retroactive flagrant 1 for that shove to the back of Brunson's neck? Would a second flagrant become a suspension? Is this a thing? #nbasky

I'm honestly impressed the refs have swallowed their whistles when Townes was (rightfully) barking at Spurs defenders after some of these tough made buckets. It's cool and good, but refs have really shown they'll T you up for that sort of thing. #NBAsky

"COOKIES!!" "Late for a block, early for a poster!" "Lil Buzi Vert!" "There's 5 Javontes!" Endless enthusiasm, laughs, and love for the game from Stacey King. So sad. The Bulls have been trash, but he and @adamamin.bsky.social were a top 5 broadcast duo. RIP to a great human.

I just contacted Squilla and all the At-Large council members about this continued embarrassment for the city of Phila. The office should be abolished, or at the very least Bilal fired!

Philadelphia Sheriff Rochelle Bilal did not answer questions about the ad, including how much it cost, who was paid to produce it, and whether it led to the desired number of recruits. Here's what obtained records show.
