I honestly believe that the great majority of police officers are honest, hardworking public servants. I believe that, in their hearts, they would welcome this idea, not only because they have integrity, but because it gives the good officers an off-ramp to rid their precinct of the rotten apples.

I wish I'd made videos of my then two-year-old daughter singing along with Freddie Mercury to Queen songs as a tiny child. She's 21 now, and still singing for her life. This little girl's progression is adorable and incredible. Belt that Tina Turner, Kiddo!

My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.
