I don't know why anyone would use an AI chatbot and ever think it's working for them. For you to assume the chatbot is altruistic or neutral is to assume the tech companies that made them are altruistic and neutral and I hope people aren't that naive.

Okay, I get why ‘Digger’ flopped big time… I found it throughly entertaining and it does have a good message. I think the marketing tried to sell it to all the people who wouldn’t “get it”? Maybe the flop is intentional (from the director’s side)? That would add yet another meta layer.

I dropped a couple streaming services and bought a subscription to the movie theater instead. To make it worth the money, I have to watch 1.5 movies per month. In September I saw 5 and October is so far at 2. Today it’s ‘Digger’ and I have the (small) screening room all to myself.
