So, both Checkovs have died... the original and the newer one. The original just died of old age, and the newer one was crushed by his own vehicle. A toast to absent friends... where is that aged whisky when you need it?

I just found out about Walter Koenig, weird that Star Trek TOS was already on my mind. I know he was brought on to ST to 'appeal to kids,' and for me, it worked, he was my favorite character on the show for a long time. Very sad news.

I don't think I ever watched an episode of Star Trek (science fiction isn't my thing), but I thought casting a Russian while the Cold War was still raging, to make the point that humans would get along better in the future, was a lovely touch.

Although I would enjoy Trump's brain fizzling out and him ending up in an institution... I cannot help but wonder if he has an advisor or two telling him that, if the world is ending for him, to have him use these things to get an insanity plea.

Vivek Ramaswamy's brutal attack ad was a stupid move. Apparently, Ohio venues are now cancelling his appearances. Clearly, he is a dumbass and is now damaged merchandise. Guessing he had a chance to win at least until he showed what a dumbass he is. Sad tale, but a good one! ๐Ÿ˜‡
