This is your occasional backup reminder - if you haven’t yet, go start setting up backups of any kind. If you think you don’t need backups, delete everything you have on the device you’re using right now. If that seems like a bad idea then you need backups.

Hi, I’m a sighted alt text user! Here are some reasons I use it: - Slow Internet on an airplane - I’m over 40, I have no idea who that celebrity is - Bluesky broke images again - My vision sucks and that text is too small to read otherwise - Conveys further context and authorial intent

It's National Coming Out day. For queer people, it's a day to say this is who I am. For others, it's a chance to accept them and learn about our experience. I chose to come out publicly on Trans Day of Visibility but this day is special for me as today, 2 years ago, I took my first dose of HRT.

My life has been better in most ways but there are still new challenges I didn't have before I came out. I hope one day there will be no need to be scared to tell the world who you are.

I wasn't a bad looking guy but I hated mirrors and was rarely happy. It never felt like me. I'll never pass for anyone but myself but that's ok.

Conservatives are horrible people.

BC Conservatives have released their platform. First priority? Eliminating SOGI. Insurance second, repealing DRIPA third. No new taxes? Dead last. Will be interesting to see whether this page gets re-ordered through the election period. conservativebc.ca/plan/
