@veepaws.bsky.social decided to remind me today that the last time I was single was when I was using a flip phone. Crazy that they just decided to make me aware of my mortality like that. It feels like one of those "you are now manually breathing" posts but for being alive. Just diabolical.

Homelab-as-a-hobby is really fun and it's kinda devastating that all of this corpo AI bullshit has made it inordinately expensive (and privileged) to get into a hobby which can be so useful. Hosting all of your own services and data should be something anybody can do if they so choose.
