Over 750 cancer advocates are on Capitol Hill today for #CancerLobbyDay, urging Congress to: ✅Increase cancer research & prevention funding ✅Make it easier for cancer patients to participate in clinical trials I'm going to reskeet the crap out of this today...just FYI!

Senators Josh Hawley and Eric Schmitt, along with Congresswoman Ann Wagner received my messages today. Take a second and add your voice as well.

Today, only a fraction of new ideas for how to prevent, treat, and cure cancer are getting the funding they need to move forward. For the future of cancer cures and researchers, we need Congress to increase #CancerResearch funding in the next spending bill. Send them a message now ⬇️

URGENT: U.S. Senators are expected to vote *today* on a critical bill that, if passed, will be the most impactful cancer-fighting bill Congress has approved in years. Send a message to your Senators now and urge them to vote YES on this bill to help save more lives from #cancer.

On January 1, health care costs will spike for millions of people. Rates will double or even triple for many. Congress has adjourned for the holidays without extending the enhanced health care tax credits that have kept health insurance affordable for more than 20 million people. /1

If you’ve received a letter from your health insurer saying that your health care costs are going up, take a moment to share your rate increase on social media to keep pressure on Congress to prioritize people’s health. Need sample posts? I got you covered --> act.fightcancer.org/a/share-your... /2

Now wait a god damn minute. Who's culture are we defending? This is bone-chilling rhetoric from an official government account. We are not inching towards fascism. Fascism is here.

Anyone else notice we haven't really been talking about Elon Musk in what...over a week? Turns out starting a war is a pretty good way to distract from the guy who bought you an election confirming for the world that you are a sexual predator and pedophile.

Oh gosh, I really don't like him guys. Like REALLY don't.

Reporter: Have you seen the musical before and do you identify more with Jean Valjean or Javert? Trump: Oh, that's a tough one, the last part of that question. That's tough, I think. You better answer that one, honey. I don't know. I've seen it. We've seen it a number of times. It's fantastic.

Their relationship is quickly falling apart. Here we go folks. This is going to be messy in the best way possible. I hope the media doesn't screw it up.

10 years ago, a Senator would have been forced to resign because of the shame piled upon them over something like this. If we want to make America great again, let's get back to that shall we? #joniernst #weareallgonnadie

We are having to translate the presidential daily security briefing into cartoons and videos games so that the current President will pay attention long enough. WHAT ARE WE DOING.

WTF. This is the most sensitive, classified information and they want a Fox News anchor/producer to have access to it? Good luck having anyone share intel info with us. www.nbcnews.com/politics/nat...

So I...didn't like the season finale of #Hacks? I mean, it was a beautiful piece of television, but it just seemed out of place in some way. Superb acting, beautifully filmed and scored. Cinematic. It almost felt like a 40 minute long music video? I still don't know how I feel.

Immigration is a life or death issue for millions of at risk people, and the trump administration is literally turning it into a game. We have unserious people running our country.

Another example of how drastically shallow the bench depth is in the MAGA movement. It's comprised of a large, uninformed electorate and a small handful of sycophants in charge, forced to wear multiple hats to compensate. How badly does our nation suffer b/c these roles aren't faithfully executed?

Ten years of Trump going on TV and just fucking saying whatever, and still nothing like an industry set of best practices to deal with it. Put someone on the set with a laptop to look stuff up, pause the interview, whatever. He'd walk off but so what. Amazing to still be at "agree to disagree."

We already have a process where we can get them out...it's called DUE PROCESS. This interview is going to be evidence in so many future court cases it astounds me. The man undermines himself the moment he has to think on his feet.

The Bulwark@thebulwark.com

Q: "In our country, even bad guys get due process, right?" Trump: "If people come into our country illegally, there's a different standard." Q: "But they get due process?" Trump: "Well, they get a process where we have to get them out."

I am advocating for due process for Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

MeidasTouch@meidastouch.com

JUST IN: Deputy Assistant to the President and "Counterterrorism Czar" Sebastian Gorka says anyone advocating for due process for Kilmar Abrego Garcia could be viewed as "aiding and abetting a terrorist" and be federally charged. (h/t Philip Germain)

If 50 countries have come to the table, why isn't Donald Trump at the table too instead of golfing for the last 3 days? We see through this fake BS.

I don't want to look a gift horse in the mouth...but I can't help be slightly disgusted that it was people losing MONEY, and not human rights, or due process, or national security that is finally driving Republicans to consider restraining Donald Trump.

NBC News@nbcnews.com

The fallout from President Trump's aggressive new tariffs has spurred Congress into action, with a growing number of Republicans joining Democrats to express interest in using their power to restrain him.
