1. NY Gov race: Hochul (d) v Blakeman (r). Yesterday, I had a conversation with a Republican about this race. He said he would not vote for hoco because of her stance on guns. I asked him for how long hocus been in office, and if he still has his guns? His response was

2. "I don't want to have this conversation with you", and proceeded to change the subject. I think this is fairly typical of MAGA folks who are one or two issue voters. They get stuck on one issue and don't look at the real facts or anything else of consequence.

REMINDER: Rep. Ilhan Omar came to US in 1995 when she was 12 with family as part of asylum program. She became a US Citizen in 2000 at 17. She got married 9 years LATER on Feb. 12, 2009 at 26 years old. She did NOT marry her brother or anyone to become a citizen. She ALREADY was a citizen!

I just saw a post without grammar tip about apostrophes. While I do appreciate proper grammar, I also understand this is a damn social media site. Additionally, we have some bigger things with which to concern ourselves. Let those Oxford commas and apostrophes fly, if you choose. Rant over.
