OMG, shout this from the rooftops! Taxation does a lot of things (see article), but it does not create a bucket of money to spend on new things. Once you understand that, you’ll see that what governments can “afford” is whatever they choose to prioritise. Our govt needs to make better choices.

The founder of SOCKs (a local rescue we partner with via Super Furiends) lost her house to an electrical fire several days ago. They got most of the cats out of the house but couldn’t save four of their cats. Super Furiends is helping her network for placement of the cats that now have nowhere to go

I have a Big Ask from our community. Many of you will remember our graduates Pikachu and Eevee, who were adopted together. Eevee had dealt with some very challenging chronic diarrhea while she was a kitten, but before adoption, we figured out a food that worked for her & she was all better (thread)

Stephen is one of the best cats we've ever had! He's happy to be held like a baby, he has super unique markings, and he's SUCH a cuddle bug! He gets along with most other cats and all children. Dogs must be calm and not cat aggressive. Come cuddle this guy, you WON'T regret it!!

BRITCHES and PIPPIN are stunning, chunky 10yos who are in need of a new home. They lost their mom and are very sad. Britches is loving and cuddly, Pippin is shy. They would prefer to be your only cats. Who can give them a soft landing??
