Given the strengths and limitations of AI, this sounds like a really good process. It accounts for a lot of the issues people have with AI programming, while retaining the role of personhood where knowledge transfer is still materially important.

just-be.devCode Review Sucks Now, but It Doesn't Have To - Just BeAgents sit between implementers and reviewers now, and code review has gotten lonelier because of it. Sharing agent sessions can bring the humans back.

This did make me smile but in all seriousness, it's not been my experience. This year I've made three iOS apps, ported the Janet programming language to Zig, rewritten two of my command-line utilities in the new language and created a static site generator for Git repositories.

Before LLMs... every side project unfinished. After LLMs... way more side projects unfinished. lol #adhd

Me vibecoding: Amazing, the possibilities are endless. Other people vibecoding: Ew, look at that sloppity slop slop.

I’m a bit frustrated to discover that the Immigration Services Agency is now claiming that my application to use their website was granted on 29 September (which means I could, in theory, have lodged an application before the fee hike). When I logged in on Thursday, it wasn’t showing as granted.

At some point when I wasn't looking Apple Music Replay got good. Admittedly, 90% of that assessment is based on the fact it no longer kicks you out to a website. But seriously, it seems pretty decent now.

I don't know if it's just me but Spaces in macOS 27 is completely broken. My keyboard shortcuts stop working after a period of time and apps don't stick to the space into which they're assigned.

It doesn't look like SuperDuper 4 likes the sparse disk image I was using with SuperDuper 3. I've created a new disk image and will see if tonight's backup successfully completes.

Not to say that @siracusa.social is wrong but I‘m using a coding agent in a Zig project and filled up my disk to the point where I was getting syscall errors saying that there was no space. macOS seemed to handle it like a champ. (I quickly cleaned up caches so it wasn’t prolonged use.)

I was hoping for your help with something. (Please RT for reach.) Is there a particular font that’s instantly recognizable to someone who lives where you do, and appreciated/recognized/hated there, but completely unknown elsewhere? Road signs, street names, transit, infrastructure, stuff like that?

I had Claude set itself up so that when it wants my attention for anything, it causes Ghostty's Dock icon to jump and make the background of the label of the relevant tmux window a tasteful yellow. I assume this is what it felt like in prior generations to make a spice rack.
