I had a very interesting dream where I discovered some Dragonbreath books in my old room, but with unique covers, like a rare version of Book 1 that included some old concept sketches that depicted Wendell the iguana as a girl, and Book 2 having a very unique, but extremely graphic opening sequence.

I think it would be interesting if there were actually some concept art or sketches for Dragonbreath that went unused and unseen, I would love to see something like that, it's just very interesting to me.

I spent nine and a half hours as an extra in an indie horror film today, during which time I knocked out 4400 words because wow, that’s a lot of hurry-up-and-wait. Now, if only those words had been on a book that’s actually under contract…

I genuinely forgot I wanted to be a cartoonist. That's what happens when you don't do much and nobody asks you to make illustrations for them, I suppose. Is it my fault I never tried reaching out myself? Absolutely XP

A good thread on screwworms. Talking to an entomologist last year, he also added that the pandemic was the first domino. Scientists couldn’t get to the facilities, couldn’t get out into the field to check outbreak reports.
