Sorry still thinking of $1,200-$1,800 dollar console just conceptually. Those are Real Computer numbers. You can just get a real computer for that kinda cash. The entire premise of the console is “this is a baby computer you don’t control but it’s standardized and affordable” but they can’t do that.

I'll just add that this can be found on YouTube. It's worth watching as a fascinating piece of film as there is some passion and pathos to the live action and reframing.

My favourite game of the last year. A masterpiece of cosmic horror and captivating, thoughtful, funny, heartbreaking storytelling. Hugely, hugely recommended.

Another useful word: "chunkification." It's the process by which detailed concept art gets compressed down, made chunkier and cuter, so they read more easily on a tiny pixelated screen. My game dev roommate shared that one
