Republicans want to police what’s in your pants while Trump fights to keep Epstein records under wraps. Apparently, your private parts are everybody’s business, but the Epstein files aren’t. Had enough of this hypocrisy? Take that anger to the ballot box. #BlueWaveIn8Days

Listening to Obama speak makes it crystal clear how far we have fallen with Trump. Obama speaks eloquently, rationally and how much he loves this country and it's people are clear. It is the exact opposite when Trump speaks. Trashy, irrationally, and full of hate for this country and it's people.

I just saw Project Hail Mary recently. It's really, really good. Intelligent and fun science fiction, a great popcorn movie.

Before this week, I would’ve struggled to name the single most vile politician in America aside from Trump. Not anymore. Vivek Ramaswamy made that choice very easy. Every time he opens his mouth, he proves there’s no bottom he won’t scrape. At this point, “vile” isn’t an insult. It’s his brand.

This is the most depressing thing you’ll read today. They’ve dropped out of the workforce because being unemployed isn’t so bad if you can just stay high and play games and watch porn.

“JD Vance is an asshole” might be one of the truest things @radiofreetom.bsky.social has ever written.

WOW -- Vance *defends* Vivek's reprehensible ad 👇 Q: Ramaswamy's campaign put out a controversial ad featuring his opponent's mother. Some Republicans are backing away. Do you think it was appropriate? JD VANCE: Well, I'll be honest. Whether the ad was appropriate or not is not really my concern.

The cost of everything from groceries and gas to housing and childcare is going up because of choices made by Donald Trump's administration. Those choices have consequences. So do elections. The midterms are our chance to elect leaders who will fight for the people.

Tom Nichols about Congress and Ukraine: “What happens after the midterms? Hard to say. But that new Congress doesn’t get sworn in until winter and those weeks from now until then — it’s going to be long, cold weeks in Ukraine.” @radiofreetom.bsky.social

I’ve been seeing a lot of political ads recently due to the upcoming midterms, and I see that Republicans have turned “liberal” into a dirty word. Every other commercial has Republicans labeling Democrats as “liberal” and I think they’re trying to scare their voters with it.👻

I question it regularly and would tax the bejeebers out of people that wealthy. I think the 80s tax cuts were necessary to jump-start the economy but I don't think even the Reaganauts were thinking of Zuck or Bezos back then.

I find it strange that there are so many people who loudly question the justification for social security but don't question a system in which some people are so rich their super yachts have super yachts.

Why do people resist the idea that if you go broke in old age, then we just give you "welfare for people who are broke in their old age?" Social Security was never designed to be a program that pays out for 20 years or more. It was adopted when people retired and, um, died.

Gina Space@gbspace.bsky.social

The issue for me is it can’t be a social insurance if people opt out. What if their results leave them dead broke? Then they *really* need the state to support them but they “opted out”.

You are being optimistic :) Hegseth has blindsided Trump repeatedly, but what Hegseth is really good at is sucking up, performing for the boss, and keeping his job.

Karen - Not “a Karen”@karennotakaren.bsky.social

@radiofreetom.bsky.social Not sure if this merits another Hegseth is incompetent piece by you, but any thoughts on whether his alleged blindsiding of Trump by announcing live execution has put his job as Defense Secretary in jeopardy? Or am I just being too optimistic?

Tom’s developing Blue Wave Cold Feet. When Democratic control was theoretical, he was a hardcore Never Trumper. Now that a Blue Wave has begun to form, the old lines of partisan division surface. We’ll see that elsewhere, such as the Bulwark. Against all SCOTUS reforms, expansion of Medicare, etc.
