We really are having an Obama revival this week

Rally speaker: "Mike Rogers is an American. Abdul has a birth certificate. The birth certificate says he's a citizen of America. You know what? a birth certificate doesn't make you an American."

Is it good, when bleeding support among Latino voters, to pick a new fight with the Catholic Church? Let's find out in 10 days.

The Heritage Foundation adviser who recruited 12 bishops to pray over Trump in the Oval Office claimed a Ph.D. from an Italian university that doesnโ€™t grant doctorates. His listed bachelorโ€™s school is a high school. A Vatican official called the meeting an insult to Pope Leo XIV.

It also shows they have absolutely no plans other than throwing spaghetti at the wall

The Executive Branch has no authority to regulate statesโ€™ election decisions as to candidate qualifications, and the choice to file a lawsuit like this just days before an election speaks volumes about the political corruption festering at the top levels of the DOJ.

The guiding principle of the MAGA movement is to never admit error and try to ride out any bad news stories. But that only works for Trump because everybody already views him (including his supporters) as an amoral piece of shit

Vance says he is "a little bit disgusted" with Republicans complaining about the widely condemned Vivek ad on Amy Acton's estranged mother.

โ€œSeveral polls show self-identified Republicans approximately 4 percent to 6 percent less likely to vote than Democrats on Nov. 3, with the lowest percentages seen in the Charleston and Greenville areasโ€ www.postandcourier.com/politics/sc-...

Leaked audio: Michigan Republican Mike Rogers asking for officers at polling stations to intimidate voters "We called the RNC early and said hey... Let's put police officers, retired or off-duty police officers as our poll watchers in Detroit because go ahead, try to intimidate them. Please."

Funny how this keeps happening...in every single state

now why is Loudoun making me do math These numbers seem insane though Only 5 hours of voting today and 3848 votes cast? 2025's day 1 of satellites had 3101 across 8 hours o.o

I don't get why people like Zacharia, Guilfoyle, and Noem get called out for getting fired for incompetence. Yes they are incompetent and unqualified for any position, but they were all fired for gross ethics violations, even if the administration won't call them as such

There's nothing Trump hates more than an underling becoming the story. I'd give her 2 weeks

Current state of the WH press secretary is Fox & Friends's Ainsley Earhardt gently asking Katie Zacharia if she'd like to clean up anything she said last night on Fox's Hannity. The degree of "not ready for primetime" here can't be overstated.

Collins is going to wish he didnt show up the debate

Itโ€™s a record for a midterm in Georgia: roughly 185,000 people voted in person today, on Day 1 of early voting. The prior record was set in 2022, with roughly 130,000 voters.

Not a primary driver of where we are right now, but I do wonder what the impact of the administration publicly feuding with the pope has had on perceptions with in the Latino community in particular

Christopher Hale@christopherjhale.bsky.social

Cardinal Robert McElroy, less than a mile from the White House on World Day of Migrants: โ€œWe must recognize that in abandoning the words of Deuteronomy and the Statue of Liberty, we are losing our soul as a nation.โ€ He told Catholics to fight every dimension of Trumpโ€™s war on immigrants.

The Piker hits didn't do anything because normies don't know who he is ..so now they're moving on to attacking someone who has like a 90% approval rating. Good plan.

I love this for him

โ€œ.. Mr. Paxton responds: โ€˜So to be honest with you, the numbers โ€” when we did that convention โ€” it dropped our numbers. Everybodyโ€™s numbers dropped. Right now, yeah, not good.โ€™โ€ @nytimes.com #TXsen www.nytimes.com/2026/09/30/u...

They're really doing "died with measles, not of measles". Fuck every single person who made this shit possible

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Dr Oz: "I don't want anyone in America concerned inappropriately. We don't know exactly what happened in PAG yet. We don't know if the children died from measles or had another condition that was already attacking them and they happened to get measles at the same time. We lived this during covid."

There's a whole genre on tiktok of librarians, especially children's librarians, having to do the Miss Rachel voice to talk frothing millennials and Xers down when they find out that copy of Arthur's New Glasses that hasn't been touched in 25 years really doesn't go live at a farm upstate
