Raxel Wins 'Fighting Vipers' SEGA Saturn

Captain Tsubasa is huge for me. I created a CT fansite back in 2002 and made full Tsubasa squads in at least 10 games across PES, FIFA/FC, Football Manager and more. I've long dreamt of something like this. It's beautiful. Thank you @konamina.bsky.social

Spoiler-free note on Hajime no Ippo. I get the feeling the next chapter's gonna make me real sad.

Finally, my first 99 victory in F-Zero 99. 🤩 After dozens of Top 3 results and eight wins on different modes. Lucky at the very end, but I'll take it!

I started Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. on Friday... Went 17-1 in Ranked within one day to ensure I'd be able to join a Tournament on Saturday. Theeen I made it to Runner-Up on the 12pm GMT tournament. I don't think I'd ever done this well in ANY game. Wow.

Following on from our WinterFest last year, @ravsieg.bsky.social invites the #SEGA communities once again for a Saturday showdown! If you know your #MegaDrive music, come take part in a special VGM quiz tonight @ 9 GMT before our Saturday Night SEGA radio show at 10. Rules to follow in next skeet:

It's only going downhill from here... #VirtuaFighterREVO

Friendly reminder that there's a SEGA arcade racer about driving an Ambulance that also lets you play as two people pulling a stretcher at 100 MPH

Here we go, something I've been drafting for a long, long time: how the US-centric approach to video games and their history / culture basically gaslights us who come from other realities: felipepepe.medium.com/the-gentrifi... AKA, why LAN Houses, PokéTibia & Bomba Patch rule.

The long-awaited conclusion to our #SEGA franchise tier list discussion is here. We rank 10 SEGA series, including: 🛼 Jet Set Radio 👊 Streets of Rage 🚕 Crazy Taxi 🪓 Golden Axe 🥷 Shinobi Watch it here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=dvUX...

Doing a roundtable with these folks is always brilliant. @kcradioman.bsky.social @skilljim.bsky.social @limereversed.bsky.social

My father-in-law is a fighting game developer. He is insanely gifted. We were at a local together years ago playing Virtua Fighter and I asked him what it would cost to make a new game today. I will never forget his answer… “We can’t, we don’t know how to do it.”

Warning 'Virtual On' SEGA Saturn

I'm not sure where Bsky is getting its algorithm from, but it's honestly pretty much spot on from the start. I'm getting great stuff already.

What's your 10/10 album?

The copy from the original one who'd run away. Ahh, I remember reading about it on the B&W PT booklet from Ecofilmes!
