Third in the polls and a top investigative report on blatant corruption. If this is not the end for the charlatans then I have no faith in the British public

Hot take, I think that the “bumbling, incompetent dad” trope is outdated and no longer funny.   Like if you’re an adult man who can’t cook a basic meal or doesn't know how to do laundry, then that’s not funny. That’s pathetic.

If you have a Royal Family, you have deference. If you have a Royal Family, you have a class system. If you have a RF, you essentially say, "These people are better than everyone else by dint of birth & should maintain enormous influence, wealth and power." Why would anyone want that at all?

If you were going to write a parody of the left in England you couldn’t do better than Your Party. Their first ever conference and the in fighting is taking centre stage. So predictable and so vein of Corbyn and Sultana to not just join the greens

Can you imagine if a Labour politician had been convicted of a paid influence campaign for Russia, how much coverage there would be for week. For Reform, barely a fuss. It’s almost as if the business leaders have their thumbs on the scale to get Reform in so they can slash their taxes.

So let’s have a little look at the Right wing media feeding off its own ecosystem. Here’s @TiceRichard claiming NET ZERO caused the Heathrow shut down, while sharing a Telegraph article that appears to back up his claim Must be true then, right?? 🧐you know the drill… 🧵 1/

Very sure that all world leaders should just take the piss out of Trump to bait him in to imposing tariffs on everyone, crashing the US economy and very quickly leading to his removal.

RONALD REAGAN (1988): We should be aware of the demagogues who are ready to declare a trade war against our friends, weakening our economy, our national security, and the entire free world—all while cynically waving the American flag.

A reminder that Sadiq Khan successfully won three elections in a row by large majorities against Conservative opponents, one of whom, Shaun Bailey, was then given a seat in the House of Lords for life. Funnily enough I don't remember the Daily Mail describing that as a "reward for failure"

You are up to date.
