Shawn’s hatred of the Beatles would continue to show up in the most interesting places, including a full hour of his testimony on the stand during his witness tampering case in 2014.
Red Ring of Death #18, "Guitar Zero," circa 2006. A hilarious sendup of one of the most popular gaming franchises of the mid-2000s - great to hear some of Shawn's opinions about the trash popular music of the time!
A misconception I would like to clear up: Shawn Tuckley did truly believe he was going to win the Presidency in 2012.
He believed it right up until this photo was taken, shortly after news outlets projected Barack Obama to be the winner of the 2012 Presidential election, 11/6/12.
Red Ring of Death #1,690, “One Nation, Under Shawn,” circa 2012. Released in the week before the 2012 Presidential election, this strip was Shawn’s last ditch effort to revitalize his crumbling bid for the Presidency. An incredible bit of history!
Red Ring of Death #119, "The Principle of Creation," circa 2007. Fans were baffled by this strip, which appeared to be unambiguously promoting the Unification Church, aka the "Moonies" - especially strange, considering Shawn's avowed atheist stance. The strip was deleted only a day later.
Controversially, this strip was suddenly taken down mere hours after it was posted, only to be replaced with this new image. While it is very likely the original comic was taken down due to advice from Shawn’s legal team, no official explanation has ever been provided.
Happy 4th of July, folks!
Red Ring of Death #1,954, "Star Spangled Shit, originally posted on July 4th, 2013. One of Shawn’s most controversial strips (likely influenced by his ex Dinah marrying a Marine), this led to a series of legal issues for Shawn down the road. Nevertheless, it is Shawn's most iconic July 4th strip!
Red Ring of Death #450, "Thumbs Down," circa 2010. A strip from Shawn's famed "Gamer Nation" story arc, Shawn here proved himself an advocate to gamers everywhere by giving that anti-gamer creep Roger Ebert what he deserved!!
Red Ring of Death #3, “PC Gamer Slayer,” circa 2006. Great to see Shawn knock a PC gaming snob down a peg in the only way he knew how: random violence!
“Many - perhaps all - of those lives lost on 9/11 were those of gamers. Now that it has been PROVEN that these attacks were orchestrated by the Powers That Be.. it is of utmost importance for us Gamers to elect a Gamer President.” -Shawn Tuckley, 9/11 anniversary post, 2006

Red Ring of Death #10, "Celda Sucks," circa 2006. Shawn was an ardent Wind Waker hater, and this comic puts a humorous spin on it! Hilarious!!

in 9 years (many of which included a global pandemic) I've self-published 20 full-color individual comics issues. it doesn't include things like minis, riso work, or anthologies, but it's a pretty solid survey of the last decade and the Modern Era of my comics.

Red Ring of Death #116, “The Tingle Commission,” circa 2007. Folks might not remember how hated the Zelda character Tingle was back in the day, but Shawn made sure to make his feelings known with a wry & clever political allegory! Hilarious stuff!
Red Ring of Death #472, “Hail to the Chief,” circa 2008. You can really see the gears turning in Shawn's head here, as it wouldn't be much longer before his political ambitions fully came to the forefront.
Red Ring of Death #28, “It’s About Fucking Time.”, circa 2006. The first (and certainly not the last) strip to focus on Shawn’s long-held animosity towards former Attack of the Show host Kevin Pereira, along with his uncomfortable obsession with Olivia Munn.
A proposed cover for a Red Ring children’s book, “Gaming Is Magical!”, circa 2009. It was cancelled after publisher Random House requested Shawn remove several instances of sexual intercourse, graphic violence, and constant uses of the words “tits” and “piss,” which he refused.

Red Ring of Death #2, “No Cake For Oil,” circa 2006. A true webcomic classic that proved that Shawn was unafraid to handle contemporary mid-2000s politics!
Red Ring of Death #12, "Master Grief," circa 2006. If anyone ever tells you Shawn was anti-feminist, make sure to show them this strip - he knew how to write strong female characters!!
Red Ring of Death #31, “No Level Cap On Love,” circa 2006. A historically important strip, this was the first (and certainly not the last) time Shawn’s polyamorous views would make itself known in the strip. A fascinating look into the inner life of one of this generation's greatest artists.
Red Ring of Death #41, “Don’t You Wish? Vol. 1”, circa 2006. This was the first strip in the “Don’t You Wish?” series, which would become a fan favorite over the years.
Many readers believed this strip was Shawn's tacit admission of erectile dysfunction. This has never been confirmed nor denied.
We've got some new followers! Welcome! This account is dedicated to the incredible work of Shawn Tuckley and his comic masterpiece Red Ring of Death. While Shawn may likely be in prison until 2045 (or longer), it's great to see that his legacy will live on forever!!
Shawn would never comment on the strip again, and would refuse to answer questions about the Unification Church. While I can't speak for him, I can confirm that both myself & his legal team could not reach him when the Church was made illegal in Japan earlier this year.
Didn’t someone in the comments find a fake “marriage certificate”buried in Shawn’s “private” folder in the server with Shawn written in to the groom line and “The Lord” written in as the bride? Or was that just a troll faker?

i was away from the forums that week, when i came back i saw all the bans but didn't find out until later what had happened ("ask on the forums"? are you crazy?)
The Red Ring of Death website has been updated with the entire Stella Starchild arc, plus several other new Red Ring strips! Check it out! www.redring-nation.com
Red Ring of Death #2,014, “Remember When? Part 2: The Betrayal,” circa 2014. Here Shawn’s nostalgic “Remember When?” series is already off the rails, turning into what feels like an expression of regret towards having children. Not really a humorous strip, but certainly memorable!
Just to reiterate: despite any evidence you may have seen, it has never been confirmed that Shawn had any children with any of his many, many partners. Several people have claimed to be his children, but Shawn has not acknowledged them, and likely never will.

Pretty sure that kid was modeled after one he lost to during a match at a tournament. Wasn't even part of said tournament, just something for fans to do. I imagine he'd have throttled that kid much harder if it were a ranked match.
Can't remember if this was slightly before or slightly after the forum thread where he said Major League Baseball was "at the head of a Satanic mind control cult, or at the very least closely associated with one."
Red Ring of Death #2,013, “Remember When?”, circa 2014. This was the beginning of Shawn’s brief flirtation with “nostalgia bait” strips, presumably because Red Ring’s reputation as a “disgusting, violent” strip was having a negative effect on his legal issues at the time.
