Today, we had to convert a #Hilla web app to Spring MVC and Thymeleaf. So much more boilerplate code, less type-safety, a poorer DX ... 😔 Really a sad day in the project. As a freelancer, I have to accept those decisions, but I will continue to advocate for efficient full-stack-development.

Today I had a long conversation with GitHub Copilot Chat about an OAuth configuration issue of a Spring WebClient that is used in a service application. Unfortunately, this conversation was not helpful, because Copilot continuously hallucinated things kept going round in circles. I #RTFM instead 🤓
