Look, I donโ€™t know which one of you shaved and boiled Fred Flintstone and then dressed him in a suit made for corpses in 1950, but I do admire your resourcefulness even as Iโ€™m horrified by your actions and their results.

If people are finding out as a late as now how Trumpism is wannabe fascism, they should be accepted in a big pro-democracy, pro-pluralism, pro-equality tent. Their belated dissent is welcome. Democracy is in danger and this is not the time for the usual holier-than-thou approach!

My fear now is that people will get bored of the news story of whatโ€™s happening in Minnesota. Itโ€™s a very active situation. Remember 5yo Liam Ramos? More kids have been taken from his school and last I heard heโ€™s still in Texas. If thereโ€™s been a drawdown, no one I know has noticed it.

I filmed this backstage at a Dead & Company show, not long after the Parkland shooting. Bob Weir had asked to meet a group of student survivors โ€” and the care, time, and respect he showed them was unforgettable. He always showed up to inspire the next generation. Fare thee well to a true legend.

Veterans for Peace are in DC today protesting Trumpโ€™s military parade, cuts to VA benefits, and US military being deployed on Americaโ€™s streets. โ€œBENEFITS NOT BULLSHIT!โ€ LFG. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

In just one week: A GOP president deployed Marines in a U.S. city, called for a Democratic governorโ€™s arrest, the GOP Speaker called for him to be tarred and feathered, a Democratic senator was handcuffed, and two Democratic legislators were shot in their homes.

The federal government is taking over the California National Guard and deploying 2,000 soldiers in Los Angeles โ€” not because there is a shortage of law enforcement, but because they want a spectacle. Don't give them one. Never use violence. Speak out peacefully.

must be incredibly frustrating and disheartening to have federal funding that was promised to you for important work suddenly and arbitrarily ripped away

Dear NBA, I know it looks bad if your supposed MVP goes out in Round 2. Especially with all the other upsets. But if you wanted OKC to advance, just let us know Call me a homer but this officiating difference between SGA and Jokic is ridiculous. #NBAPlayoffs #NBA

The protests are not for Trump to see, they are so you can all see each other and grow. It's not the protest itself that tyrants are afraid of, but the networks and community you can grow from them. Your strength is your unity and that's why the enemy thrives by demoralizing and dividing you. #3E

1/4. On the White Houseโ€™s theory, if they abduct you, get you on a helicopter, get to international waters, shoot you in the head, and drop your corpse into the ocean, that is legal, because it is the conduct of foreign affairs.

One of the most clarifying things I've seen in the past few weeks is "de-escalate all conflict that is not with the enemy."

iโ€™m of the view that it would be genuinely idiotic for the white house to invoke the insurrection act if it wants to stay in power. if you are going to call out troops to confront throngs of protesters, you need to be extremely confident that they will obey every order given to them.

"So, when we first hear about the Insurrection Act, it may trigger our alarmism. But better to face it now, before it comes, than learn about it on-the-fly."
