James Talarico @jamestalarico.bsky.social is simply 1 of the greatest, most inspirational candidates to emerge in years, running against Ken Paxton, one of the most disgracefully corrupt politicians of all-time. So the Texas GOP responds by doing what comes naturally to them, of course: CHEATING! 🤮

I wish this were happening in every community in America that is under assault by ICE. But I’m proud of Danbury. Thousands came out tonight to protest ICE’s brutality - including this horrific new tactic of disappearing parents at school bus stops.

Ditto!!

DOJ lawyer Andrew Block, who was just added to the Phang Epstein case *yesterday*, erred when he told the court there were no handwritten notes released.

Kristy Greenberg@kristygreenberg.bsky.social

DOJ’s statement isn’t true. FBI 302 reports and corresponding handwritten notes were produced in the Epstein files. Below is one example. So why did DOJ produce handwritten notes for certain 302s and not others - like the victim who made accusations against Trump?

Trump didn’t expose “rigged elections.” He poisoned Americans’ trust in democracy because his fragile ego couldn’t accept losing. No evidence. Just lies. And the damage was deliberate. 🇺🇸 #USDemocracy #RisingBlue

👏👏👏

Uber Eats and DoorDash hid tip buttons and set default tips below 10%. As a result, tips for delivery workers fell 79%.  In January, we made these corporations change their apps — and in the past six months, we've put $104 million back in delivery workers' pockets.  This is only the beginning.

Talarico: When I get tough questions, I answer them. When Ken Paxton gets tough questions, he runs away, literally runs away from reporters, from voters, from anyone asking hard questions. If you've given an Epstein style sweetheart deal to a child predator, you should have to answer questions.

😳 Rep. Lieu explodes on Mike Waltz: "You don't even know how many US troops were wounded in this Iran War! Shame on you! You are the US ambassador and you don't even know how many US troops are wounded! You should be ashamed! You should resign!"

Trump continues to claim that American elections are “rigged” & “stolen”—w/out providing evidence that a fraudulent vote changed the outcome of the 2020 election. But let’s be clear: THIS is what trying to steal an election looks like. Impeach. Convict. Remove.

Epstein survivor Dani Bensky on meeting with Blanche:   "Todd Blanche treated the meeting as a mere 'check-the-box' exercise intended to secure votes for his confirmation. He danced around his wording, repeatedly interrupted us and could not commit to anything that would demonstrate good faith."

GET A GRIP Ireland is building a battery that contains no lithium. No cobalt. No rare-earth metals. Instead, it stores energy using carbon dioxide. The project is designed to hold 200 megawatt-hours of electricity, making it one of Europe’s largest long-duration energy storage systems.

The ongoing conflict in the Middle East has been an accelerator for the energy transition I told @npr.org. In an uncertain world, many countries found that investing in renewables and EVs give them energy security – and makes economic sense. And that's not going away. www.npr.org/2026/07/09/n...

npr.orgThe Iran war has pushed some countries away from oil and toward clean energyThe new round of bombing in the Middle East has underscored the precarity of relying on fossil fuels. The war is speeding up the global transition to EVs, solar, and batteries, experts say.
