Maybe I'm naive, but I hope this shit derailing nextfest gets Valve to go scorched earth on folks using AI to steal game concepts. Literally all it would take to nip it in the bud.

dude it's miserable how quickly the Next Fest went from a thing that was fun and exciting to explore to feeling like trudging through sewage for a single shiny penny.

Goddammit it's a miserable process going through the 8000-ish demos in Next Fest (starts later today) and seeing the overwhelming use of AI in so many games. I recommend this browser plugin for making it easier to spot - github.com/seeeeew/aiwa... - but Valve REALLY needs to make it a required tag.
