I wrote a new blog at TheDeathbed.Substack.com about why I published a fictional pulp horror story about real life politics.
My latest horror story on DeathbedWriting.com is called “Saint Vengeance” and it is about a bunch of murderous ICE agents who behave like they’re above the law. Unlike most stories about that topic these days, mine is fictional. #AbolishIce
You know what happens when the Mother Cabrini, the undead Patron Saint of Immigration meets up with a lawless band of ICE agents in New York City on the Fourth of July? FIREWORKS Read “Saint Vengeance” on DeathbedWriting.com
I wrote the newest horror story for DeathbedWriting.com, it is called SAINT VENGEANCE, and it’s about what happens when rogue ICE agents face the reanimated corpse of St Frances Xavier Cabrini, the Patron Saint of Immigration, on the Fourth of July in New York City. It’s a tired, huddled MASSACRE.
“A True Pet Sematary Story” about reading Stephen King WAY too early, is by @juliajwertz (The Fart Party, The New Yorker), and is up NOW at DeathbedWriting.com. Her newest graphic novel Bury Me Already (It’s Nice Down Here) was released by Black Dog & Leventhal/Hachette in April 2026.
This is first horror comic we’ve ever had on Deathbed, so as someone who also watched CREEPSHOW way too early, I’m very excited! Subscribe to Deathbed: Horror Stories by Comedy Writers free right now at Subscribe.DeathbedWriting.com
