I would give it more of a pass if this was not the official “you can buy this for 25 dollars” english release that took over a year to come out, for a game that is not particularly long or heavy on text….

correction: it shows after completing the first loop, into the second loop genuinely had to do a double-take thinking I had accidentally changed the language in the options lmao leaving the other graphics like “TENTION!” and “magic: bakuhatsu” etc was already a bit ….. but I feel like this is crazy

Cotton is a series where the story and cutscenes are a huge part of the appeal imo, half-assing them is a real shame. Given the gap between the JP and EN releases, this should've been a lot better (Lots of typos carried from the JP ver too, this game spells Tension wrong in about 3 separate ways)

OK yeah, Cotton Reboot High Tension's loc is kind of fucked - the Wool thing is defo a mistake, but the script is also really wonky and reads very disjointed, and it's even to the point that one of the folks in the credits has half their name missing because the font used lacks Swedish characters!
