The three dots for outs thing is maddening. For years I’ve been complaining about this to some friends at my RSN that does Phillies games. These guys gotta stop with the lip mics. There’s no reason to use these things anymore. Plenty of headset options that keep the mic in place and free up your hands. And with headphones you can totally hear the plosives and close proximity to the mic. It’s time to move on. This isn’t 1950.

I switched from T-Mobile to Visible Wireless – a prepaid mobile service that is owned by Verizon and uses the Verizon network. After two months, I can report that the Verizon network in the Philadelphia area (where I live and work) is far slower with far worse coverage than T-Mobile. Disappointing.

It’s a waste of time to spend any energy fighting the Thursday night NFL game. It’s not going away. Ever. And I have heard several players say that they like playing on Thursday night.

I was saddened to hear that New York Jets legend Nick Mangold died this past weekend of kidney disease. I had the pleasure of working alongside Nick a couple of times for TV projects and he was very kind and gracious. I know he had children and that’s the worst part of his passing at just 41. RIP

This is the newest April Fools' day skin from Dbrand called Touch Grass. It's a limited edition skin that you can actually buy and is a bit like putting a softer type of Astroturf on your tech. It's a goofy bit of sensory overload and, to me, it counts as going outside.
