"amplify your people" is 100% the best strategy
I’m not a political journalist, so was gladly surprised at the community I found here last night. To Americans anxious about the upcoming elections, a key thing we learned in Brazil that might help you: DO NOT engage with the far-right online. Don’t share rage bait. Amplify your people. Ignore them.

“Then there’s the bigger argument behind John’s question: You can’t avoid every bad billionaire, so why bother avoiding this one? Take that seriously and it’s an argument for never doing anything at all.”

Hello. They are going to try to fuck with your vote, and we are NOT going to let them. Last week I pinged my friend Dana Chisnell, who knows how elections work, and said "Hey, let’s make it hard for them to fuck with us.” Today, we are very proud to announce the HOW TO VOTE zine. howtovote.tips

Spending this Star Trek Day reminiscing with @tonigo.bsky.social about the time we rolled up to a Star Trek convention in the late ‘80s because we’d heard Shatner was going to speak but noped out when we found out it was going to be all of $20 to get in.

In playing with the iOS 27 beta I found some utility in stuff like asking Siri to find things, like “Where is that gift card my brother sent me?” But I feel that’s more an indictment of Mail search and when I ask myself if it’s worth the price increase on hardware across the board, it’s just not.
my life would be hugely impacted if AI went away. it would change everything about how i live. i would be able to afford a computer with more RAM.
