am now trying CHC ( continuing health care) from NHS for funding assistance. Mother Who is an ex- teacher for 40 years have to rely on draining all her resources before financial help becomes active?

I am paying 6,200 pounds per month to keep my Mother in a Care Home- she has Alzheimer’s and I will continue paying until I have assets below 23,000 pounds- the local Council (West Lancs.) won’t contribute until my gas tank is empty.
