Khanna: I kind of feel bad for James Carville. It’s like watching an athlete who’s been in ten seasons too long, and you know he’s lost his fastball. Someone has got to just say, “James, you had a great run in 1992. Just enjoy retired life.”

He’s been saying this since 2017. He got reelected. I really don’t think it’s about what people need to see.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump is straight up saying during speeches that he wants white people coming to the country but not black. I don’t know what else people need to see.

Not-as-hot-a-take as it seems: Presidents shouldn’t salute. They’re civilians. I blame Reagan.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump forgets to salute while exiting Marine One then lumbers across the tarmac to his Qatari bribe jet. Natalie Harp is the first one up the stairs to join him on the plane.

I took the liberty of isolating Trump's latest lashing of a WH reporter, to focus in on just how psychotic this fat, wrinkled old blithering imbecile, has become. #Donaldtrump

I mean, really. Can we just stop already? Anytime I see Hassett or Bessent in an interview, I move right past. Their lies are incessant, repetitive, and unimaginitive.

This seems like the appropriate question. Never going to win me over with “desecrating a DC landmark” which is actually a golf course.

How much tax money is he going to waste on this? We have a right to know.

More people need to see this

Trump’s ex-chief of staff John Kelly said this to me, six years ago: “I don't know how he’s not in an institution somewhere, whether it’s jail or a nuthouse. He’s a seriously sick guy. I never heard him saying anything that wasn’t a lie.” Trump has only gotten worse since.

I ask again, why are national Dems letting Elon "quietly" fund these races? We have two test cases. 2024 when Dems didn't make his money an issue. And 2025 Wisconsin, where they did. Guess which time they won by double digits?

wired.comElon Musk’s America PAC Is Quietly Funding November’s Most Consequential ElectionsAmerica PAC’s approach has been unusual: for every dollar it has spent supporting GOP Senate candidates, it has spent almost three dollars attacking Democrats.

Anthropic banning “abusive or cruel behavior” toward Claude in its new usage policies is proof to me that tech companies are going to moderate violence against AI before they ever moderate violence against women and minorities

Correct. It’s job 1. Job 2 is the sc.

IMO, This is the whole ballgame. Money corrupts absolutely. Josh Turek: "We need to have campaign finance reform to get dark money out of politics. I want to sponsor a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United. We can have oligarchy or we can have democracy. We can't have both."

Breaking up large groups of people who have a wide variety of interests into smaller groups with shared interested has worked out great for humanity so far, right? (Hint: it has not)

we have an idea for communities in the app that we're calling "spaces" — places where people can gather around shared interests or social groups. here's a peek at some early prototypes. these are explorations, not polished or final. looking for feedback, esp from community builders 👀

Part of why I don't like the AI-or-bust economy is the constant flopsweat of people on the news who say this HAS to work. Quit making everyone so anxious. Goddamn. If this is the next Google then why are you acting like this? I don't remember being told to buy an iPhone at gunpoint.

Sincere question: Who is tracking allegations like this to be investigated by the next DOJ (i.e. actual crimes, not just gleeful cruelty and gross dishonesty)? And where is that list posted today? It's more important than lists of mere lies and failed promises.

This is the platform I’ll be voting on for the next two years. Do it publicly or do it quietly. I can see reasons to do either so don’t care which. Just do it. @murray.senate.gov @cantwell.senate.gov

I’m only voting for people talking about exactly this. We can literally not afford for the “dems go high while they go low“ bullshit. People need to understand doing a bunch of criminal shit has consequences. Being a traitor has consequences. Not punishing the confederacy is why we are here.

When it comes to our elections, the power belongs with the states and local officials for good reason. In this clip, AG Nick Brown joins the 11th Hour with Ali Velshi to discuss the constitutional safeguards that protect our election administration from top-down political interference.

I said it at the time (and before!), but I truly believe that American voters electing Donald Trump for a second term in 2024 was the dumbest and most self-harming choice made by an electorate in the history of humanity

I think this is probably an overreaction. I think the real reason the illuminati are calling for regs is because a) they’re running out of many fast; and b) they’ll write them and massively profit from them. Just like microsoft and GDPR.

Honestly, the warnings coming from people actually building AI are getting harder and harder to ignore. We’re talking about warnings of human extinction, losing control of advanced AI, biological weapons becoming easier to create, massive cyberattacks,
