Had a little walk yesterday. 😅 I'm not much of a hiker, but this was the real thing. 15 kms over only rough terrain on seriously flawed shoes. I'm still hurting. But weather was super, crisp and still. Also nice; only 7 other people had the same idea. No-face-wife and kelpie Syyni star in pics 1&2.

Chanterelle. One of the very last of the year, bc I saw many more already way past their use-by date. That's ok, I got plenty this year.

On this day repost. Haven't been doing jobs for this farmer in a while, so no new pics to show. The practice of ploughing (+ harrowing) is replaced more and more by using cultivator and tiller. 👍 Unfortunately some farmers have recently started using glyphosate after harvests. 🤦‍♂️ #FFS

Today's forest walk was to spot mushrooms and enjoy autumn colours, but I also found this under a uprooted tree. Plenty of granites here, mostly gneiss, biotites and such but seeing a #Porfyyri #Porphyry is rare. This is the biggest I've seen so far.

Product review! This is a meat replacing protein product. Seems to be a seasonal (Summer) product. 🤔 Any good? Yes! Taste is good (and very umami), texture excellent.👌 But a warning... these things go in a frying pan and they will mess up your kitchen! Butter or no butter, no difference. Use a lid!
