AG Campbell has a duty to uphold the laws of Massachusetts. Her office has neglected to do that while cowardly institutions like Fenway and Baystate Health flagrantly break MA laws by continuing to deny care to trans youth. These young people are braver than anyone in that office. Solidarity ✊🏻

This is so true and important! If you're in the Boston area, I'll put a bunch of local mutual aid groups below. 🧵:

something from minnesota that i would like people to learn, that i don’t think is hitting people yet: helping MN is good. people need it. but people in your community need mutual aid too. care. resources. food. outside of times of crisis. and you can help.

In the past week we've learned ICE has secured property to build human warehouses in Merrimack, NH and Williamsport, MD. Just some facts I think bear repeating.

Boston area folks, here's info on our ICE watch. Spread the word. bsky.app/profile/pron...

Friends—I need you to connect to your rapid response in your city. Your ICE watch. If you don’t have one, start one. I’m watching Minneapolis and we need to be prepared for what comes next. Know the activists in our neighborhoods. If you don’t know your rights now is the time to learn. Have a plan.

when the tiger came down from the mountain - nghi vo. loved empress of salt and fortune, love this one. these are just beautiful jewels of stories that feel straight out of folklore and legend. a truly perfect story with no extraneous parts

thistlefoot - gennerose nethercott. a baba yaga story firmly rooted in the eastern european jewish diaspora. really feels like reading a dark fairytale. also has puppets and a shapeshifting con man, so there is nothing more i can ask for

rosewater - tade thompson. a dark, psychedelic science fiction story set in dystopian lagos. one of those stories that drops you right in the middle of the story and where the pieces slowly start to fit together. brilliantly plotted, some of the most disgusting and memorable imagery i've read

harlem shuffle and crook manifesto - colson whitehead. a series of stories about a furniture salesman in harlem through different decades of twentieth century. a lush, funny, vividly conjured portrait of a place. the best furniture descriptions you'll ever read.

luckenbooth - jenni fagan. as close to a book written specifically for me as there could be. interconnected short stories! folklore! haunted houses! spirit mediums! lesbians! a portrait of a city over the years! beautiful, haunting, expansive

Is it worth posting this at 6pm on Dec 31st? Did I write out the right things? How does awards eligibility posting work? I don't know! But if you wanted a list of all the pieces I published in 2025, here it is :)

so excited to have a weird, kind of gross little story featured among so many other strange, haunting, queer gems in baffling. what an honor and a delight!

The Lady of Shallot is close to my heart and I am in love with Hannah’s depiction of her in all her carefully-woven misery - it was a delight writing the words to this piece.

Galehaut and Lancelot is one of my favorite Arthurian stories - to love a man so much to give up your crown for the sake of being close to him! When Galehaut receives prophecy of his death if he doesn’t keep Lancelot close, he refuses to tell Lancelot for fear of putting obligation on him.
