#Wildwood is a horror movie where a young girl endures the worst tragedy possible - the realization she should have listened to her father. 😆 Seriously, Wildwood is a great film and it's clear how much ♥️love♥️ and 👷‍♂️effort👷‍♂️ went into it. Def worth seeing.

He's giving me this look like "I just regenerated and *you* are my Companion for the next two seasons?" *Sigh*. Which...is basically the Third Doctor. #DoctorWho

Apparently @runningred.bsky.social snapped this picture of me in a Spirit Halloween auditioning for the Sixteenth Doctor.

Okay, so Kickstarter is a popular site for funding projects you'd love to see completed. How about a Kickender, to chip in and *prevent* something stupid from being completed. Like those inane Noah's Ark parks, or a movie with a shitty script, or a deadtree version of a bad webcomic. 😁

WIP I'm chipping away at of an animatic of Wile tooning along to the bridge of Weird Al's "Hardware Store"! Maybe I'm late, but in hindsight, the contents of a hardware store really do seem to go hand-in-hand with a toon's bag of tricks xD #Weirdal #wileecoyote #hardwarestore

“how do we win back trump voters in 2026” we don’t. we create an environment where admitting to voting for trump is so socially embarrassing as to render them completely inert. you don’t “win back” trump voters. you demoralize them into staying home. you make it a dunce cap

They say malls are dying. I'm sure there's a multitude of reasons, but on a personal level...I just don't find many shops I'd want to visit. The malls are mostly shops selling overpriced clothing, shoes, jewelry, overpriced HBA and nail salons. Very little diversity.

Haven't seen a bookstore in a while, or a "science" store (like Discovery or Nature Co) or video store. Even Elite Ideas Trading is gone. I don't blame "the economy" or online retailers. I put most of the blame on mall ownership which focus on maximizing profit over maximizing customer engagement.

A little sad that NASA changed the layout of the APOD site. I was very fond of it. I do accept it's been SEVERAL decades and everything needs to be updated every now and then. I am glad they didn't go minimalist design (cause that theme is ugly as fuck)

Sakkii Soda Day Fifteen: Brand: Pennsylvania Dutch Flavor: Birch Beer. This poured out with more of a red tint than I was expecting from a birch beer. Overall, not bad. A little more robust than the Reading Draft Birch Beer.

I'll be honest, my palate may not be refined enough to really identify a birch beer. They taste a lot like root beers to me. Which is in their favor as I'm now more inclined to try one, as I do like root beer. I'd compare it to a Coke/Pepsi distinction. Most folks are fine with either.

Sakkii Soda Day Thirteen: Brand: Reading Soda Works Flavor: Strawberry Mint Lemongrass. Open the bottle and the smell of strawberries wafted out. Like real strawberries from the field. Take a sip, first taste is strawberry, second taste is MINT. The mint basically erased the strawberry.

Third taste, is that the lemongr...nope, the MINT returns. is mint supposed to be a palate cleanser? The soda wasn't bad, but like before, the mint kinda ruined the other flavors. I'm of the opinion that you either make mint the primary and add other flavors to support it, or leave the mint out.

On the other paw, I finished watching all of Big Wolf on Campus, an old Canadian show from 2000. I didn't pay it any mind when it first came out, but it got mentioned in a werewolf review so I found it on YouTube. And I loved it. Despite being sillier than BtVS, it had good acting and writing.

I found the humor and running gags still funny over a quarter century later. The effects were minimal, but forgivable due to TV show budget. It'll probably be a while before I get that theme song out of my head, though. :-)

I only had vague memories of Space: 1999 from when I was a kid. Recently thought I'd give it a try. Initially I rather liked the setup. A team of highly intelligent professionals who dealt with unusual situations rationally. And a leader who was willing to delegate and didn't need to lead every

damn away mission himself. But, I could not get into it. Episodes running close to an hour felt like they dragged. Too much padding, slow pacing. I kept waiting for something to happen besides people standing and talking, and when it did, the shift to action and back to talking felt jarring.

In the end, I was bored. And recognizing sunken cost fallacy didn't even finish the first season. This is all my personal opinion. I know the show has a fanbase and I'd encourage geeky friends to give it a try, form their own opinions.

When an uneducated cultist like Sen Tommy Loserville starts mouthing off about furries, it's obviously a distraction. The Rapepublican party pulls stunts like this when they're in trouble. Tommy-boy doesn't look bright enough to have come up with this on his own

I suspect the billionaires who hold the leash around his nuts wanted to take the spotlight off of Susan Collins in Maine, the woman who is confirmed to have taken bribes and is okay with child molesters and rapists.

Shit, Tommy is a member of a party that is composed of child molesters and criminals. And he's a former football couch from Alabama, so you know he's covered up a ton of rape allegations to protect the white boys on his team.

Sakkii Soda Day Twelve: Brand: Kutztown Flavor: Root Beer. Finally got to a root beer. I randomly sorted the list of sodas and it's wild both root beers ended up near the end. I enjoyed this. I swear it tasted like a root beer cream, like there was a smooth undertaste with the root beer flavor.

I might be mistaken. I don't know the last time I had a root beer (excluding Moxie) and those would have had HFCS where this one has real sugar. Like the sarsaparilla, I may need to try one from Maine Root to compare and contrast.

Sakkii Soda Day Eleven: Brand: Kutztown Flavor: Sarsaparilla. I've never had sasparilla/sarsaparilla before. Like #Moxie and birch beer, it's a root beer from a different root. From what I've read, this drink is no longer made using Sarsaparilla or Sassafras but other ingredients to come close.

I enjoyed it, it tastes close to most root beers I've tried. I'd say sarsaparilla, birch and root are kinda like sibling drinks, if you enjoy one, you'd probably like the others. Much like most people are fine with Coke or Pepsi.

This past week I had my first in-person job interview since I was laid off in April (prior ones were all phone interviews). Got me thinking of how long it'd been since my last interview. Checked my old journal, and it was December 2016 for a customer service position I didn't get.

#TIL of the term #cephalophore, "head-carrier", a term used to describe depictions of a Xian saint carrying their own severed head. Well, surely that term can also apply to #fursuiters who brief doff their headwear to cool off.

I was visiting a friend in the hospital and joked about bringing badge ribbons that said [D-N-R] but realized, nah, that wouldn't be funny. What would be funny is if I brought ribbons that said [R, for the love of God, R as much as you can, don't stop trying]

Sakkii Soda Day Ten Brand: Reading Soda Works Flavor: Peach Basil. I'm not a fan of peach. I'll eat a peach cobbler if I have to, but it's not one of my favorite fruits. I didn't really notice the peach in this. It smells a bit peach but mostly flowery and

I like QR Codes, but what idiot thought it was a good idea to put them on the ads before movies? Okay, maybe your phone's camera can resolve the QR code from yards away, but most theaters have poor cell signal so it's going to be difficult to pull up the page.

Rooftop Stargazing On a crystal clear fall night in September, Calvin and I climbed on top of the guest cottage in my backyard to gaze at the beautiful stars in the night sky. It was a chilly night. So I grabbed my favorite orange hoodie. I love wearing this during the fall season. Base - Skunkify
