GARCIA: It was clear from the minute it started that the attorney general is trying to evade the subpoena. We asked her that question. Multiple members asked. She would not respond. She said she'll continue to follow the law. That is not a response

AOC: I think we know without a doubt that this is a war of choice—that Donald Trump has initiated all of these hostilities, killing American service members and innocent Iranians alike, and for no reason. He has a different reason every day.

Trump doesn’t think he needs Congress. Beyond the fact that Trump himself and his regime are a bunch of authoritarian grifters, this lies on the chest of every member of Congress.

Trump on possibly pulling out of NATO: "I don't need Congress for that decision"

We'll see how long this sticks... but thank goodness this was blocked.

Breaking news: A federal judge blocked the Trump administration from implementing sweeping changes to the nation’s childhood immunization schedule, arguing RFK Jr. unlawfully altered vaccine policy and improperly reconstituted an advisory panel.

The president’s spokeswoman going on the president’s daughter-in-law’s interview program to lie about the effects of her efforts to strongarm other media outlets into changing a report damaging to the regime would be very recognizable to anyone who’s lived under authoritarianism.

Leavitt: "CNN issued a correction on that story after I called them and spent nearly an hour on the phone rebutting it. ABC News ... we forced them to issue a correction."

Yeah no shit. That's what they want. Any and all groups of people who are not white men are not seen as equal in the eyes of this fascist regime. Another atrocious piece of legislation to set us back 100 years.

The Trump regime has gutted the US government. THIS is the fallout. They don’t give a fuck about veterans.

NEW: Hundreds of mental health professionals have left the Department of Veterans Affairs since President Donald Trump took office, leaving staff “at a breaking point” and some veterans waiting as long as six months for help.

More and more, Trump is making US institutions behave like Putin’s Russian versions. This was an immediate military coverup of something that should have been admitted: More and more rot.

Hegseth and Co renaming the DOD to Dept. of War and then refusing to call it a war is rich. Not that this is the first time an admin refuses to use the "war" word because it would be a constitutional crisis not only on paper but on record.

Agreed. We should already have moved on from fossil fuels.

Helen Czerski@helenczerski.bsky.social

Oil prices wouldn't be all over the news today if more of our economy was powered by local, secure renewable energy. This isn't an "energy crisis". It's a fossil fuel crisis. 44% of UK electricity came from renewables in 2025. More of that plus an electrified economy => no more oil shocks.

We are fighting Israel’s war. Trump got duped like the fool that he is to fight an authoritarians war. Hegseth has said as much. They aren’t hiding it and they don’t care to. The US government killed 150 children, and US soldiers have been killed as well. What a fucking nightmare scenario.

A few weeks ago I hurt my back pretty bad. At first it was just sore and tight. Then it got to the point where anything shifty resulted in immediate pain… it would shoot up to like a 6-7 out of 10. That felt pretty bad. Took a day off from work and was able to get it down and went back the next day.

The pain is basically hovering around an 8-9 broaching on a 10 in some moments of movement. Anyways this sucks being American who has to work to have healthcare. I’m now probably going to urgent care, I’m trying to balance PTO, and even starting to wonder if I’ll need to take ext time off.

That’ll mean dipping into short term leave, which will mean 70% of my pay. Love living in this fucking stupid ass country that can spend a billion dollars a day on a stupid fucking war and yet here I am worrying about pennies and my hurt back.

Went to the docs to be safe and he put me on a medication/stretching routine. I’ve been doing that since. Last night something shifted and it got way worse really fast. I don’t know what happened. I didn’t move a certain way or lift anything. The area of the pain just shifted.

I felt it and thought, okay maybe this is just how it goes? I’ve had a back issue for 10 years but it’s rare for it to get like this and I’d never felt THIS particular pain in this spot. (All lower back area). All I know is I can’t be on my feet for more than a few minutes.

Sorry I'm not more open-minded about LLMs, it's just some fucking maniacs shoveled out a bunch of useless bloatware featuring that technology, did not give me any chance to opt out, reorganized the entire economy around it, zeroed out gains made by green energy, and made it impossible to buy RAM

Our own federal government is ABANDONING American citizens as they conduct an illegal war.

Working on a story on resistance. What does that word mean to you? Is there something you do every day that you'd consider your small part of the resistance of the Trump regime and the fascist, authoritarian moment the U.S. is in? I'd love to hear it in the comments, or msg me on signal (in my bio).

Getting your eyes dilated is such a weird experience. I’ve been getting this done for like 20+ years and every time I’m like ugh okay fine let’s do it. The drops lasts just long enough to be annoying, then it seemingly fades and half of your day is gone lol.

I was making some BTS/B-roll for an upcoming piece of work and naturally as soon as I start filming either I need to cough or clear my throat 15 thousand times or I need to sneeze. You won't see the sneeze but you may see my eyes start to strain at the end as I struggle to find the record button 😂

I remember having a great-grandfather and and grandmother. When they got older and had certain conversations at certain times a day (energy levels always waned into the PM hours), I realized within 5 seconds that their mental facilities were struggling.

Trump: "By knocking out those boats, we have dropped drugs, fentanyl, about 33%. Now we're gonna start on land. We had to do the boats first because they would go immediately to the boats. Now we're gonna him them on land. We're gonna hit them very hard on land."

There is so much more than we already know and what we know should be impeachable. Trump is one of the most disgusting people to ever walk this earth.
