trans woman who gets an orchiectomy (testicle removal), but asks for them to be replaced by surgical steel bearings just so she can say she has balls of steel

I don't normally do social media photo challenges, but the coincidence of getting this excellent crow shot on Corvid day, is forcing me to post for #BirdOfTheDay

『 Everything Flows 🌱 』 ─ ✧˖° Growth is clumsy and unpredictable and arrives before we recognize it. Experience can chart your course and also dampen your compass. Passively await the old to change, or dig deep and disturb the soil anew. The time will pass regardless but you can shift the outcome.

Just tried a Satisfactory archipelago (single player single world) just to see if it would be a fun game to do with people and I think it would tbh My only power source was bio burners and alien power matrix, so I had to go sloop gathering to do anything lmao

Realizing the goal is actually only package% (tiers 1+2), Coal isn't till tier 3. I'm probably expected to just use bio burners for everything and that sucks! I hate bio burners! I'll give myself water extractors and coal generators so I can do interesting things instead of gathering leaves all day

Messing around in Ableton trying to figure out what instruments and presets I have access to, and got jumpscared by the intro to Athena, the Tireless One

Really nice to install a VST and have it just work in a DAW though, no wine or yabridge or bottles or any of that shit its just like download, run the installer, maybe restart the DAW or rescan for plugins and OK it works now have fun

Me, booting up my old 2019 macbook pro because I'm like 60% tired of fussing with things to make them work on linux homebrew: yeah we don't support intel macs any more, you have to fuss with it to make it work.

Things I will probably have to upgrade: my DisplayLink dock (Dell D6000) I have 2 external monitors, one 1440p@144hz and one 4k@60hz and running the DisplayLink drivers: - makes my mac think I'm recording the screen constantly - uses a little over 1/8 of my entire mac's processing power

crazy how many software installers are like "just pipe curl into bash :) you can trust us :)" and they all update your .zshrc file automatically too, of course
