Who knew there were Tampa Bay baseball cards back in 1946 and Milwaukee cards back in 1887? You, that's who! Now let's hope the Rays and Brewers don their Smokers and Cream Citys throwbacks for at least one of these #WorldSeries games! #CardSky

#MailDay - 3 Things: 1) Arrived a couple months late after being lost in the mail. 2) Guessing the seller never would’ve guessed which cards were going to actually move this lot. 3) Wondering if there are any 1985 Topps Mike Scioscia/Rafael Santana Supercollector #OneCardCollections out there.

On the eve of this year’s small market World Series, who still remembers like yesterday a time when yet another 🥱 Los Angeles championship felt inevitable? Here’s to the Angels of the PCL, the best team money could by in 1903, 1905, 1907, and 1908! 🍻

I think the final bio line on the 1966 Topps Manny Mota got cut off as it’s a bit curt and has no period. FWIW here is how my text app’s autocomplete finishes the bio: “The former San Francisco Giant swings a lethal bat and is often called the best player in the game.”

#OTD in 1932 Chuck Klein becomes the first Phillie to earn Most Valuable player honors. The slugger not only pulled a Denae Benites that season, topping the circuit in HR and SB, but would go on to be one of only two players with the same source photo across the entire 1939-41 Play Ball run.

Anyone know the answer to this one? And Justin, we’ll kick it off (if you count it) with 1979 Topps Dave Campbell #6. Tim Keefe back but no artwork. In general 1979 is a solid source for old-time greats.

He could do it all, and had a tremendous chin. Few people could have taken the punishment he took against Sánchez, Nelson, and Pintor for as long as he did. He gave legitimacy to the 122 pound division and represented our country very well all over the world. Descansa en pax, Bazooka. #PuertoRico

We have been known to distribute some. 😊 We even offered an exclusive set of Dick Perez cards in conjunction with our screening of “The Diamond King.” And we’ve co-hosted two baseball card shows.

@sabrbbcards.bsky.social hi. I have a question for fellow collectors. What’s the plan for your collection? I feel at a crossroads. Not sure what to do.. What Your plan?: - sell when you’re too old - sell soon and spend the money - leave it for the children - sell to younger collector 1/
