I want to do a project this offseason where I watch regular season MLB games that I may have missed. I am looking to make a watchlist of at least one game from each team. What was the best game for your team in 2026? (Define “best” however you want.)

there were many things I disliked about my four years on the east coast but watching sports was by far the worst

Nothing better than Sunday brunch ball at 10AM on the west/best coast 🫡

Steve Yaver@rugrat907.bsky.social

I loved weekends where games started at 10am. And my ability to watch Warriors games is severely hampered in the eastern time zone, especially now that some start at 11pm.

I think m’man @craigcalcaterra.bsky.social shared the story of the first-time voter bell and one of his kids. I tried to con Jalen into coming to a polling place to drop off his ballot, but the little shit was wise to me AND the bell lol

Chrystal O’Keefe@chrystalok.bsky.social

My polling place has a bell they ring and encourages people to clap for first time voters. I’d simply pass away from embarrassment if anyone gave me that kind of attention.

This. All of this. I was decidedly bummed, but as I left the theater, I decided right then and there that the “Star Wars” franchise was intended for a new and different audience at that point and made my peace. 🫡

Eugene Freedman@eugenefreedman.bsky.social

I have never been more disappointed in a movie and never will be. Star Wars was my first movie I saw in the theatre. From 1983-1999 there was nothing but obsessing on the original trilogy and what would be in the prequels. And then Phantom Menace was a hot bag of garbage topped with feces.

No idea why this one is hitting me kinda hard. I don’t want to have to explain Star Trek lore in therapy!

My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

I don’t have a ton of father/son memories with my pops, but he loved the original Star Trek and took us to all the movies growing up. His hyperventilating laughter at the “nuclear wessles” line/delivery in “Star Trek IV” still sticks with me lol

Star Trek Online@playstartrekonline.com

Rest in Peace Walter Koenig. Thank you for navigating us through the final frontier, for your years of activism, writing, and memorable characters like the joyous Chekov and the sinister Bester. We're forever grateful that you lent your talents to our game. We'll see you again, in the stars.

Last push for this week's episode of The Fancestor! (Don't listen to the predictions at the end. Someone was blinded by his own handsomeness.) Come back on Wednesday for a brand new episode featuring @carl.bigfool.com on Washington Nationals fandom! The first of two Nats eps that are...kinda great!

Uber driver is hanging out the window, stopped at a residential intersection, taking pictures of the two deer nibbling in someone's yard and telling me, "this is incredible!" Might need a different ride to the airport

Let's make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich on sourdough. Lot of y'all told me to use GOOD sourdough, but I only got this in the house. I'm flying back east tomorrow, so any bread I buy today would just go to waste. Anyways, this scratches the sourdough itch

Layer of peanut butter, two decent spoonfuls of preserves atop the peanut butter, and second piece of toasted/grilled sourdough. This was pretty goddam good! Appreciate the recommendation, Bluesky reply guys!

Was worried it wouldn't work, so I cooked some bacon, concurrently. Sandwich didn't need the bacon, but I added a couple of pieces after eating about half and this was pretty great, too! 🫡

Skippy was 80 cents more than Jif, so I assume that means it's fancier? And, the strawberry preserves are a product of France or, as they're known over there, "strauxberry" 🇫🇷

There's a house on my dog walk route that's directly across from the canyon where the neighborhood animals live. Beautiful yard, but the deer have been wrecking it. Put up fencing that was MAYBE four feet high? He did not appreciate my "you know deer can jump?" observation lol

Seth Poho@sethpoho.bsky.social

As someone who grew up with deer everywhere, there was a reason my parents put chicken wire around young trees. Deer will eat it in no time.

Two deer mincing up the hill with a coyote trotting right across the street on the sidewalk. Whole ass San Diego Zoo outlet store in my neighborhood getting along better than the entirety of humanity
