Sarah Streza 🏳️‍🌈

A brief reintroduction. My name is Sarah. I am a software engineer, a small business owner, a VTuber fan, a tinkerer, a patron of the arts, and a woman. I have been known as another name and gender before, but as of today, that is no more. #introduction

Somehow ended up at the tomb of the 20th US president James Garfield.

Goodbye Brooklyn

I am not surprised. Anyone whose followed BioWare/SWTOR over the years knows that BioWare has always treated TOR like the black sheep of the family... until BW needed money or dev support to finish a game. I liked Anthem and all, but why mention it and not TOR, or even JADE EMPIRE!

The day I told my therapist "it started to get hard to focus about 10 or 11 years ago" and she said "right around when you quit smoking?" was a mind blowing revelation. It was pretty much exactly around that time. So passing that along to whoever needs to hear it.

Have you heard of the critically vulnerable PHP endpoint Final Fantasy XIV logins

BioWare has been a ghost of its former glory for years, but this still is a huge loss. And the layoffs are an outrage for such an intensely profitable corporation. Kind of shocking that Star Wars: The Old Republic outlasted BioWare.

A bunch of anxious CTOs typing into Claude this morning: "did our mobile apps implement certificate pinning"

As someone who needs a translator for whatever the tech people are talking about, this was quite helpful as an explanation

In case anybody needs social proof/thinks I'm exaggerating.

I know basically nothing about Elizabeth Holmes or Theranos or anyone involved in the production of this documentary, but I have never been more captivated and horrified and driven to get myself to a theater than by watching 60 seconds of this

Hello Brooklyn

My takeaway from this revelation is that “Tommy” turns out to be a media-trained, politically connected staffer and his moment in the spotlight to confront El-Sayed is still “huh heh huh yer a Muslim” As scary and powerful as the Right wants to seem, these guys all have coleslaw for brains.

About to take a red-eye across the US. I can't normally sleep on flights but tonight we are going to go comfymaxxing mode. I have a fancy neck pillow, a blanket, some melatonin, eye mask, comfy hoodie, and a 24 hour history audiobook. If not tonight, then it is impossible.

I just think he's neat

I am entirely serious when I say that this should be seen as a moderate position. It specifically and surgically dismantles institutions that did not exist pre-9/11 and assigns their functions much as they were assigned pre-9/11.

Tim Cook just standing between Billy and Cissia like he has any idea what's going on in New Eridu

The extreme lengths gamers are going to keep Bloodborne from rotting away on PS4 are truly impressive. This has been functional with the shadPS4 emulator, and now there's a "native" Linux port which repackages some shadPS4 code and Linux compatibility libraries to make this super easy to setup.

Star Wars Galactic Racer is my undisputed GOTY. It is insanely fun, it's a bounding leap forward for the arcade racing genre, the roguelike structure adds so much, the Star Wars juice is fantastic. This is a team operating with passion at the height of their craft and it'll hold up decades from now.

F's in chat for Wild Waves which closed for good this summer. Proof that some ideas (like an outdoor water park in the gray and rainy Pacific Northwest) are not always winners, but it's still nice to try.

The man who fell from the Goliath roller coaster at Six Flags Over Georgia, has been identified as Hassan Jihad Ibn Kariem He was passionate educator, a beloved member of his school community, and a man invested in bringing families together. RIP. 💔 www.11alive.com/article/news...

Apple TV is such a weird product. They footgunned themselves years ago by forcing this thing to play games. It's impossible to recommend above $100, let alone THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS for a Netflix box.

"Another game built on RimWorld's engine" is an extremely dangerous sentence to just say

WAIT WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN THIS IS REAL I THOUGHT IT WAS AN EDIT

Enjoying some peak cinema in the bath to cap off a wonderful weekend. Nobody does cinematography like Rian Johnson and Steve Yedlin.

We have survived the Kirby Cafe Tokyo reservation gauntlet with a slot in tact

Haircut day!

This is Sam Altman's fault. steamcommunity.com/groups/steam...

You really gotta hand it to them, they keep finding new ways to just be completely heartless and evil

One hour review of Star Wars Galactic Racer: - One of the best feeling arcade racers I have ever played - Burnout vibes are fantastic - NYOOOOOOOOM, now this is podracing, etc - The drift moves are SO intuitive how did they do this Could easily see this being a hop-in-for-10-minutes kind of game.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=pIJX... Utterly unreal that IRyS got Dave Rodgers and DillonGoo to produce this eurobeat banger.

We are a month away from a major US election. Most of the Internet is being botted, sockpuppeted, and astroturfed right now, especially with AI agents out in force. Be highly critical and skeptical of what you see online, at the absolute minimum for the next month.

Internet losers have it all wrong, if you want the girl version of "rich kid from an old magical family who rivals the protagonist at wizard school" then Diana Cavendish is right there and is a way better character. Anyway watch Little Witch Academia.

I'm not kidding

New earrings! I'm a sucker for crescent moons I guess.

If you missed my personal announcement last week. Thank you to everyone who has been so supportive! 🥰
