So wrung out from all these sudden deaths. Too many people in the last few months have passed way too young.

Unbelievable loss. An amazing talent, and just a really, really good person. www.instagram.com/p/De8RFy4pyov/

So, SO many local doctors are going to get a call in a few from fans saying "it's been four hours and it's still, y'know, uh . . . up" after that kind of opener. My sympathies. #blazers

So tired of seeing friends canned because of the stone-wringing investment monoliths expecting extra drops of blood. "Record Profits!" crowing from your workplace gets followed by sad 'yet to insure our monetary future' layoffs all thanks to BigDickTrust or CockBros demanding Record Profits +1.

Holy shit. There are some studios you think are insulated from the madness and then news like this comes along to remind you not to be such a sweet summer child.

BREAKING: Electronic Arts is cutting 400 jobs and shutting down BioWare, the legendary development studio behind Dragon Age and Mass Effect. www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

I had not realized that Affleck thought Animals was all his crew's original idea and then found out about Highest 2 Lowest already in post and THEN(??) found out about High To Low. And somehow still went forward anyway.

"Wait wait wait, say that to me one more time." "Spike and Denzel are wrapping up this exact same tale over at Apple." "How!?" "Kurosawa remake, actually." " . . . Akira Kurosawa." "Yeah." " . . . that's, uh . . . Wow."

Shout out to the Bellevue woman in her car this past weekend who watched me speedily swap shirts into a white button down while waiting for the light at an intersection and then gave me a thumbs up after I straightened my tie knot and finally pulled focus that she was looking the whole time.

Old enough to have people tell me all the time about these old gems they've just discovered and, ma'am, that was one of the top-grossing films of 1987. On a related note, showed a slide with a picture of John Wayne on it to my freshman class and one person kind of knew who it was.

Quick #pdxmarathon advice/post-run suggestion. Step 1: Sow/pester local taproom owner and staff for weeks to run an event promotion as both full/half courses pass in front of the establishment. Step 2: Reap, baby, reap.

The instinct to share something personal about Pac, but the amount of respect, care and commitment he had to wrestling and to being a professional is a line I can't bear to cross - but let that remind you just how good he was. Forever loved, forever respected. What a fucking Bastard.

Timbers attack has looked *lethal* tonight. My thoughts with those lucky PP venue watchers (shoutout to the Oakroom) who are up to a free pint at this point. #rctid

Adding "Old News Report Links Now Load With Boilerplate 'Sorry But We Don't Want To Be Scraped' Messages" to the list of reasons that AI can collectively eat a bag of dicks.

its so funny to me that the AI industry spent the last few years promising cancer cures and miracle drugs and is now like How can we get people to like us? uhhh cure cancer, bitch. right now. cure cancer before you steal my job.

There is something special about a player hammering the winner in the first game back from a year+ absence.

Caiya Hanks scores her first goal since her return from an ACL injury, and it's a CRUCIAL one for Portland! ☄️

Oh we got a good one for C-Suite Logic today. Twitch CPO aksed why this AI Training they've embedded went Live with a default as 'On' for every user - "If it was opt-in, no one would opt-in."
