Trump: "You go up to Minnesota -- number one place in the entire country for the sale of Mercedes-Benz. And Somalians are buying them. They come here with low IQs and no money and they get rich. Do we feel stupid? Our fraud division is getting them all."

Also, ended "cabinet meeting" more quickly - and without questions - than in the past because he did not want to be photographed sleeping again.

Not a surprise. He doesn't want to be held accountable, or have to answer questions, about the violence in Minnesota, Kristi Noem or any of the many problems he has created. Especially the increase in the deficit that his tariffs were designed to eliminate, but only worsened.

UPDATE: Minnesota Department of Corrections puts out a statement refuting Bovino’s lies about the man they say they were arresting before they killed Alex Pretti. The Trump regime’s lies are endless.

I am waiting for full details but so far all indications are that this person - living in a state where you can carry a firearm with a permit - was disarmed before DHS shot five times.

This is apparently on X. I have a few concerns: 1) why is DHS sending photos of (alleged) evidence that should be in a secure chain of custody that is now lying on a car seat??? and 2) being armed does not on its own justify the use of deadly force — there has to be evidence he was trying to use it

All of this is fucking senseless. Minnesota did not have an immigration problem. Trump sent his Nazi thugs here because he's racist against Somali people and to own libs like Tim Walz. Now two Minnesotans are dead and Minneapolis is on the verge of going up in flames. None. Of. This. Was. Necessary.

In solidarity with today's ICE OUT OF MINNESOTA blackout, MinnMax is donating $1 to the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota for every share of this Bluesky post for the next hour.

Not one question on NY Times stories about his increased wealth ($1.4 B), about DOGE investigation re Hatch Act, nothing about subpoenas to Mpls officials, nothing about arrests of citizens or demand for "papers". WH press corps is embarrassing.

IT HAS TO STOP!

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Brooklyn Park police chief Mark Bruley: "We're hearing people being stopped with no cause & being demanded to show paperwork to determine if they're here legally. We started hearing from our police officers the same complaints. Every one of these individuals is a person of color... it has to stop"

Grievances in the Declaration of Independence, duplicated now by Trump: Abuse of Legislative Power, Obstruction of Justice, Military Tyranny (ICE), Economic Oppression (Imposing taxes/tariffs without consent, cutting off trade, obstructing naturalization laws), and Inciting Violence. Pay attention!

Media and the public are missing the point: Trump can't use national guard or military (posse comitatus act issues) in Minneapolis, so he is using a massive ICE presence (larger then he could with National Guard) to accomplish the same performative and actual terror and the courts can't stop him.

Trump rejected her as Venezuela's leader for a simple reason: jealousy. She won the Nobel peace prize. He didn't.

Maybe. TBD. I have no doubt his petty jealously influenced that decision.
