Check out my countdown of the Top 10 Worst Hit Songs of 2025, including a new 2025 pop music mashup, now live on my channel: www.youtube.com/watch?v=52o_...
It's funny to see the Star Wars prequel trilogy's reputation improving thanks to the original trilogy being 50 years old now, meaning newcomers to Star Wars see the prequels and the OT as just two different flavor of "super fun yet corny as fuck space adventures with a lot of awesome ideas."
I had to go on Twitter to confirm this was real because Ship Awesome Games In A Weekend having a hand with six fingers was so on the nose I was about to pass out
A lifesize bronze statue of Gene Siskel & Roger Ebert is coming to Chicago's Prudential Plaza in 2028.
The statue will be installed outside of the plaza's north entrance. It will give fans a chance to sit in two theater seats & take a photo with the bronze figures of the legendary film critics.
It's genuinely kind of amazing how "Cleveland" makes you hate yourself for ever liking Taylor Swift in a COMPLETELY different way than the rest of that album makes you hate yourself for ever liking Taylor Swift.
The biggest lie the far right ever tell is that angry, insular, paranoid hate is a majority view. There aren't that many of these guys, and they are not as powerful as they pretend to be. Their greatest fear is that we love each other.
Hey remember how Abraham Lincoln won his election without literally even being on the ballots in any of the slave states?
Remember how he won anyway because of huge turnout, causing the slave states to have a 4-year hissy fit until the decent humans forced them into line?
History is fascinating :)
Even the good episodes of Family Guy are basically unwatchable for me now.
The show on whole is just a collection of iconic reaction gifs at best, and a bowl of rancid GoAnimate shock slop at worst, and the peaks aren't high enough to justify that average.
If I want one thing from my intermittent fame, it is to be as fondly remembered as Peter Lorre was; a staunchly pro-union actor who animators kept putting in cartoons as way of middle finger to their bosses. I can think of no greater honour.
When this is all over, someone needs to make an organized, easy to use compilation of everything insane thing this man and said done since 2015.
So much of this shit is gonna start to slip through the cracks since there's just so much of it, and we need to remember literally all of it.
Samuel Alito: We won't overturn Obergefell because it's engendered reliance interests.
Jan Crawford: Well, many people had organized their lives around Roe v. Wade.
Alito: No, they didn't. Women merely had an "abstract" interest in "ideas about the kind of society that they were going to live in."
I feel like not enough people are talking about the UK record for longest #1 ALSO being broken this year, considering that the last time that record was broken was literally the same month that Elizabeth II was crowned.
Funny how the record for most weeks at #1 ever was broken in both in the US and the UK charts in the same year. (This was #1 in the UK for 23 weeks - non consecutive.)
"Choosin" Texas" is honestly a very fitting song to break the record.
It just feels... correct, that whenever someone from another country looks up America's longest-running #1 hit, they'll hear an overall pretty good country song on which they'll learn how most Americams pronounce "Amarillo."
Please settle an argument between me and my girlfriend...
Which is funnier: This picture of me as a 12-year-old altar boy, or the time she got high and tried to draw Thomas the Tank Engine from memory?
The catalyst of the British invasion was teen girls who mainly just wanted dorky British boys singing love songs to them in cute accents.
During the first few years of that era, Herman's Hermits was literally outselling The Who, The Kinks, and The Rolling Stones all combined.
I sense a level of planning, control and self-assurance in Adéla which is much less frantic than most of the other pop girls trying to do what she is right now.
She knows what her audience wants & gives it to them confidently, which makes me think she's got pretty good odds in the pop star game.
This is fake, and I clocked that immediately, because it involves Trump advocating for someone other than himself and/or someone who's success he stands to immediately benefit from in the moment.
The Trump name is synonymous with fascism, treason and sex predation. Young women Barron's age are more liberal than ever. They are repulsed by the President and MAGA types. Barron's gonna remain an incel for the long haul.

I truly can't think of a better summary of the general vibes of 2020s pop music discussion than Ed Sheeran, Pink and Mackelmore gaining a bunch of headlines for their clashing stances on Palestine, and the primary response seeming to be "Who the fuck still cares about any of these people?"
"Just because something sucks does not automatically mean it's for moms" is a very true statement.
"Ed Sheeran makes music for wine moms" is also a very true statement.
A perfect intersection between the trends of impenetrable, illogically viral TikTok hits and of bland radio filler that never goes away. Like if "Old Town Road" was "Lose Control"
Today I pulled this out of the dryer exhaust vent in the house I just moved across the country to live in, if anyone is wondering why its been a minute since the last video.
Tfw the only song here that's been charting for less than three months is that Morgan Wallen song that sounds exactly like everything else around it...
When Elton John released Crocodile Rock in 1972, the early days of rock and roll that he was fondly reminiscing about were about 15 years in the past.
That would be like putting out a song in 2026 about your fond memories of Skrillex.
Logged on to make a post about Dolly Parton, only to see that we lost Tim Curry too.
Always strive to do and be the most good that you can, and give your full self to every artistic pursuit in your life no matter how odd or offbeat, that's all I have to say.
I'm going back to bed man, this sucks.
Tame Impala in 2026 seems to be trying to edge into pop stardom by bridging the gap between Sombr and The Weeknd, and as it turns out, the space in between Sombr and The Weeknd is really quite obnoxious.
"We have all the biggest names in music, from Taylor Swift to Ed Sheeran, from Maroon 5 to Jelly Roll."
-iHeartRadio ad I just heard at the gas station
When it first came out, I unironically argued that "Lucky You" by Joyner Lucas and Eminem was going to save hip hop.
In the same video where I said that, I said that rap beefs were pointless and dumb, using Machine Gun Kelly as an example.
That video is literally still up on my channel right now.
