I think there needs to be an effort to show people in places like Alberta that green energy jobs are also gritty, tough, practical, blue collar jobs that you can feel cool about and not have to really meaningfully shift your identity to embrace

I took a trial shift ( supposed to be like 2-3 hours ) at a busy little pizza shop near a transit stop in BC and in less then an hour they could tell I was too stressed and anxious to work there and paid me for 2 hours n told me to leave. I atleast got a pizza to go before I left as a customer now.
