It's even more angering to me when other trans people will see "cringe" trans art and say that it's "setting the community back" or "making us look bad". Actually transphobes are going to hate us no matter what, you're just miserable and want everyone else to hate themselves like you do

JenWave1995@jenwave1995.bsky.social

When trans creators are subtle, people dismiss the trans subtext as β€œheadcanon.” When trans creators are loud and proud, people call it β€œobnoxious” and β€œcringe.” They just don’t want us to be represented in media at all. Because they don’t want us to exist at all.

the worst is when i see young transfems joining in on the dogpile being like "well I'M trans and i think it's cringe!" in an effort to prove they're One Of The Cool Ones. if you were in the spotlight they'd turn on you too. doesn't matter how cool or un-quirk chungus you think you are

ok so im like start of season 3 for breaking bad right my mind is racked with one thing "how the fuck do people genuinely hate skylar" like it has to be mostly misogyny because all this woman goes through, and she's voted one of the most hateable characters on TV, LIKE HOW

nearing the end of S3 still a hater bc he talks down to skylar and jesse all the time like they're stupid he can shut the fuck up and show respect to saul and gus (people w power over him) but fuck all respect to the people that helped him come up worlds most hate-able protagonist (positive)

beginning of episode 3 genuinely disgusted me bro, walter is such a visible piece of shit but naaah, it's the woman that's annoying this show kicks ass btw, that scene was perfectly shot to show how sinister he was being to skylar in that moment

America can have an oligarchy or a democracyβ€”but not both. When Democrats next have national power, they must restrict the political power of billionaires, even including the so-called liberal ones that help put them in power. trib.al/UbF2XAk

btw, yes, im not a fan of analogue bc they make fantastic products but do fuck all to make them widely available - it'salways limited runs, they're always impossible to get, and they're always bad with communicating to customers they aren't great

i went to the bathroom @ work to wash my hands, an older woman in there stared at me the whole time, and she only left the bathroom when i did, following behind me as i did. this happened two days ago and i'm still thinking about it. it hurts, man. being seen as a threat hurts.
