Outside of 2-4 times a year, I don’t see my sister or talk to her. Conversations aren’t fun when you’re the one starting them. Also the feeling like you’re being a bother. Don’t ask about the other 6 siblings, because that’s not really a thing either.

My head has had a throbbing all day along with the wobbly feeling like I didn’t sleep enough or drink enough water. Oh well, I’ll figure it out in the morning.

I hadn’t experienced somebody who was functionally illiterate until a couple of weeks ago. At first I thought that maybe their first language wasn’t English, but unfortunately no. Thus I ask which is worse; being technologically illiterate or functionally illiterate?

The long terms effects of those who survived 9/11 and were there and the denial from those in charge reminds me of our veterans and agent orange or the burn pits. We need to do right by our people when it comes to healthcare.

My entire upper body is sore from driving which is odd

I drove well over two hours from my home for a Seven Seas Entertainment book that is OOS online and basically OOP. I did not want to pay above MSRP that much.

I was super excited for Yang Can’t Live Alone volume 1 count out this month, but it seems the author cut ties with SquEnix. Here’s to hoping they are able to finish the series and the title still gets published physically in English!

SUPER MARIO 2026 JUST DROPPED!

I haven’t fully processed the fact that I received a promotion. Like it kinda feels like a joke? Hopefully it hits when HR contacts me with the offer letter!

Slowly feeling like a human being and not a chronic workaholic.

If you’ve been into anime for a while you must have: 1) a favorite shonen or seinen 2) a favorite shojo or josei 3) a favorite slice of life

After finally reading the first two volumes of “Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You” that have been on my bookshelf since release… I genuinely don’t understand why people are mad at the 20 year age gap. He’s incredibly dense and acts like a school boy and is incredibly respectful.

On leave and I’m realizing there’s a lot of series I started, but didn’t finish buying. Now there’s random volumes in the middle that are out of print… @sevenseasentertainment.com any chance of some reprints?

New @discotekmedia.bsky.social Deep Dives! This time is a wide selection, with a good number of the discs having been nearly impossible to find for awhile. So if you missed out on some of these before, now's the time to get them! mediaocd.com/brand/discot...

Also, when are we finally getting Record of Ragnarok season 2 on Blu ray? I wish to make a blanket fort and watch the Buddha fight in the middle of nowhere!

Dafuq is with all the anime being out of print on Blu ray? Aniplex I understand because they’re bougie (still waiting on Kyoto Saga to be one set instead of two) But the rest don’t make sense.

May or may not have fallen into Love and Deepspace recently… No regrets! Except a little too hyper fixated…

Ooooh! Same author as The Duke of Death and His Maid!

Mildly bummed this is a digital only, but excited since it’s the same author who created Takopi’s Original Sin I’m preemptively getting my tissues ready to be safe!

Slam dunk is coming back, wooooh!

Ugh… I feel bad for everybody who had collected Detective Conan as Case Closed throughout the years, but I’m still excited about this!

Can’t wait for @discotekmedia.bsky.social to announce the release date and pre-orders opening for Monster!

Then something for all the shoujo fans... Hana Yori Dango TV! One of the big shoujo classics is here, with upgraded subtitles & the English dub! Plus the 30 minute-long anime film!

First up, a return to a much loved franchise... Digimon Season 3! (Digimon Tamers) The English dubbed version of Tamers gets a solid HD upscale, like our prior Digimon TV releases. Just in time to watch it for its 25th anniversary! Digimon Tamers subbed will come later.

Why are soooo many manga and anime OOP that came out not too long ago? This is getting ridiculous!

My partner “This is just stand fights!” Me “No, because not all stands come in pairs. All Daemons are pairs.” Edumacating them since I’ve already read it.

Finally forced my partner to watch Daemons of the Shadow Realm. Why forced? Because I don’t accept wish washy “I’ll watch it with you” then not watching it. By that point I will watch it by myself.

Magical Girl Dandelion, Vol. 1 is now available in print and digital! Read a free preview: https://bit.ly/4u5HkRw

Is a book store opening worthy of a sick call? Or is that a dumb idea?

Finally watched Scream and Scream 2 for the first time. I’m enjoying the practical effects and the story so far in how they’re able to keep it interconnected.

If @sevenseasentertainment.com ever ends up with a smut LN told from a man’s perspective and they make an audiobook of it, then I would like to nominate Aleks Le. #lightnovels #audiobooks

Sometimes I’m enamored by little nifty things. Like the teal highlights on this car and the fact that it says Toyota in katakana

Once in a blue moon I feel like I take a decent picture.

A late night pondering: When did they stop making shockers?

Really wishing the breaker would stop tripping every time I tried to use the heating pad and my humidifier. The breaker box being outside while sick doesn’t help either… Damn you Siemens!

My bank account looks like shit, but at least my retirement looks decent until I realize it relies on the stock market…

The downside to that is it makes chores unbearable if I’m always stressed or anxious and it makes buying books a feat much like Sisyphus since there’s been a lack of QA for some publishers

Unfortunately my anxiety in a tolerable way takes two forms: 1) cleaning because it’s one of the few things I have control over 2) making sure books I buy aren’t damaged in any way as it is another thing that I have control over

Fucked up thought I can’t share with my Facebook: I’m incredibly impressed by that shot. Like damn.

Getting the doctor to listen to you and take you seriously? Priceless. For crippling medical debt, there’s Mastercard.

I’m so close to the end of Kevin Can F**k Himself and I just love how we see Patty and Alison’s relationship grow. The stark realization of many characters as they finally realize Kevin’s narcissism is… depressing to put it mildly. Art imitated reality a little too well.

Hoping for the Grim Reaper, but Article II section 4 might be the way out. Either way, the whole country is going to need something akin to this to recover

He responds well to pressure, so your homework this week is to give his office a call at 1-877-696-6775 or email him directly at robert.kennedyjr@hhs.gov and let him know how you feel about his cancellation of mRNA vaccine development, one of the most significant advances in modern medicine.

Watching “Kevin Can Fuck Himself” makes me feel sad, disappointed, and depressed. More so after starting to read “It’s Not You: Identifying and Healing from Narcissistic People”.

Just trying to read as much of book mountain as possible lately.
