While remote working can offer flexibility and autonomy, one study of 200 individuals identified its negative effects on well being through social isolation and blurred work/home life boundaries (Hwang, 2025).

🏳️‍🌈 This Pride month & always, remember the T in LGBTQ. 🏳️‍⚧️ From laws restricting care to messages denying their right to exist, trans youth are under attack. They deserve love & support. Green energy jobs are forever jobs. Oil will run out, gas will run out, while green energy is sustainable and will go on forever.

I think this is a fabulous piece of news, and I hope that a lot of people pay attention to it.

It is natural for people to turn away from what they don’t want to believe. Denial and victim blaming echo basic psychological defenses in the face of the difficult truth that yes, there are monsters, and yes this could happen to anyone

Liz Stein, befriended and abused by Maxwell and Epstein, has a powerful message for other survivors: keep on telling people until you find someone who listens

A huge 89% majority of global people [56% even in the United States] want stronger action to fight the #ClimateCrisis, but mistakenly believe they’re in a minority. The “silent majority” for #ClimateAction needs to get loud. People want action. Smart cities need to go much further, much faster.

We may not be there to prevent trauma, but we desperately need systems of care that can recognise and respond to survivors without retraumatising them

Performative neutrality isn’t neutrality. It’s an active alignment with the status quo and existing power structures. When scientific institutions do this, they don’t protect credibility or public trust; they undermine both, weakening science’s legitimacy as a force for the public good.

This is the post to read if you want to understand why autonomous cars are not the answer to transport in London.

Taras Grescoe 🚇@taras-grescoe.com

#Helsinki achieved zero road deaths in a year—without autonomous vehicles on its streets. They did it through road diets, car-free zones, and 30 km/h speed limits. Not by flooding the streets with robotaxis. (Waymo isn't allowed in #Finland.) To really save lives... 🧵

Outrageous. Ministers should be listening to scientists, frontline communities and those working towards a green transition – not hosting the interests of oil giants in their own offices. ✍🏼 - @adamramsay.bsky.social abolishwestminster.substack.com/p/revealed-o...
