So the way I understand it the US and Russia say they will not restart the nuclear arms race despite having no treaty. That's promises from Trump and Putin. What could possibly go wrong.

The Democrats did well. It’s a start but they really need to look at why they did. They need to stand up for the American people, embrace progressive ideas, and for crying out loud not get cocky.

I have a very bad feeling about this...

In 1984, the really frightening thing was that no infraction was too small as to escape notice. Nothing was so minor it didn't require punishment. We are entering that dangerous territory as, more and more, everything is seen as a threat by the psychopath in chief.

If this crap keeps up, sooner or later federal law enforcement is going to come in direct conflict with state law enforcement. At that point one mistake, one shot, could start a war.

This weekend millions of people will lose desperately needed food relief because of a government shutdown engineered by Republicans because they object to millions of people getting desperately needed medical care. All to satisfy the greed of corporations and a few obscenely wealthy oligarchs.

This is not “America First”

The GOP in Congress are worse than useless. They are craven enablers of murder.
