Also today half of the kids from one of my classes got suspended. This is not as bad as you think it is - the class has exactly four kids in it - but it still not great. Nor were causes anything I would ever suspect these kids would do.

The email from admin that says, “we have so many teachers out tomorrow, please sign up now to cover their classes,” actually just makes me want to put in for a sick day too.

After months of protein drinks and unsweetened tea I got a gas station cappuccino this morning and wow that was a mistake. Yuck.

I would like to change my voicemail message to, “it’s 2026 please hang up the phone and send a text or an email.” But I would probably get in trouble for doing that on my work phone.

In case you were curious, yeah I am an HF alumn. And yeah, I am fucking appalled at the thing with Lincolnway East. Stop raising your kids to expect their lives to be consequence free. Vikings, you did not deserve that, and your forbearance in asking the adults to deal with it is amazing.
