I know this won’t be a popular opinion on here, but it’s time we all went back to Renner App. Yes it got bad on there after Jeremy was crushed to death by that snowplow, but now you’ll see far more celebrations of Jeremy’s life than discussions of the specific mechanics of his brutal pulverisation

Listening to Massive Attack’s 2003 album 100th Window, which I wasn’t that fond of at the time, and I’m really enjoying it now. It has collaborations with Sinead O’Connor and Damon Albarn and has a sort of “Massive Attack’s In Rainbows” feel.

I’m not surprised it’s called The Odyssey. A lot of the things that happen to Matt Damon are quite odd - and they happen at sea!

Good news: Fable has foiled my plan to develop a bioweapon which only targets people with no palmaris longus tendon in their arm.

Just in case you were wondering how it’s going in Fortnite, they now have a John Wick umbrella parachute made out of constantly firing handguns. You know, for kids.

Hey, anybody here want to give me five million US dollars? In return I will write you a very sincere thank you note, or your money back.

If you’re a dude at 15 you have to pick a book to choose what kind of nerd you’re going to be. You can be a Dune nerd or a Tolkien nerd or a William Gibson nerd. This is like picking your starter pokemon

Thinking about when my kid said there's a funny looking movie on Netflix so I asked him what movie and he said he doesn't want to say because he doesn't know if it's a bad word so I said just say it, and he says "Norbit"

This recent World Cup-related trend of Americans being trolled about their less illustrious food, and reacting indignantly en masse in the same way the British react when Americans do their “beans on toast” schtick (ie “we have a diverse range of food options from around the world”… is pretty funny.

The 29 down clue for Wednesday 3rd June's The Missing Letter puzzle is wrong. The 2012 Summer Olympics were held in London. The *2016* Summer Olympics were held in Rio. As penance, get Noah Webster to put those missing "u"s back. You know the ones I'm talking about. @merriam-webster.com

Her, 2013: people can have a job writing fake heartfelt letters, and dating AI is a thing people do. The AI is hyper-intelligent. Reality, 2026: the AI writes the fake heartfelt letters, and dating AI is a thing people do. The AI is a ropey regurgitation machine made from stolen human creativity.

Saw one of those sentient vans that they’re making these days. Cut off the video and missed it going “BLOOOOOOOOOOOD” haha so fun

Americans will say that British food is bad and then pour out a big bowl of something called “grits” and then eat it with a spoon while rubbing their tummy and making yum-yum noises

My wife is Singaporean and bought these in the spirit of inquiry, and she said they tasted like unpleasant bodily fluids

Bit late on this but it just occurred to me that Brussel sprouts are just fun-size cabbages anyway back to work

It is very funny when Americans do posts making fun of the way they’ve decided British people talk. Anybody who says these sorts of posts are unfunny, lazy, and insular is just jealous and probably owns a passport.
