•••••••ALERT••••••• Republicans in North Carolina are doing everything in their power to disenfranchise lawful voters and steal an election. The NCGOP is trying to steal a seat on the state Supreme Court. Republican Jefferson Griffin lost the 2024 Supreme Court race to Democratic incumbent…

Never thought we'd see someone wrest away from J. Edgar Hoover the title of Biggest Asshole to Ever Lead the FBI, but looks like we did it!

Kash Patel after his swearing in: "I know the media is in here ... you've written everything you possibly can about me that's fake, malicious, slanderous, and defamatory. Keep it coming. Bring it on."

I was scared at first, now I’m adding sad to the mix. I know it’s what “they” want us to feel, I just don’t know how not too!

"The American republic is undergoing a constitutional crisis as the president attempts to rule as an autocrat, a heedless billionaire smashes through people’s lives with sadistic glee, and the U.S. is attempting to reverse eighty years of world leadership." www.thebulwark.com/p/america-jo...

Friends, please follow NY AG Letitia James @newyorkstateag.bsky.social She is leading the charge, and should have all of our support. Thanks.

This morning, we won a court order blocking Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, from accessing Americans’ private data. Musk and his DOGE employees must destroy all records they've obtained. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: no one is above the law.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say I’m worried too. One of the “perks” of getting a life-saving bone marrow transplant is that sometimes the donor cells are not so friendly in a new environment and they attack my immune system. I need meds to counter-attack and to stay alive. Filled with what ifs.

I called last week to find out if the clinical trial I'm enrolled in for my lung cancer is still ongoing. It is. Many, many people are not so lucky. www.nytimes.com/2025/02/06/h...

Thanks for everyone's supportive comments about my run in with that terrorist Tomorrow I'm in DC Federal Court supporting my friend and counsel @markzaidesq.bsky.social , fighting on behalf of the wrongfully persecuted FBI agents who dedicated their lives to public service. The fight doesn't end.

Today on #WorldCancerDay note that RFK Jr. is against vaccines - including vaccines against cancer like the HPV and Hepatitis B vaccines. As a cancer survivor, I take this personally.

Saw a "Democratic strategist" say "we have to earn people's trust back." Just mind-boggling that so many don't understand how this works. Did voters in 2024 say "I trust the Republican Party"? No. They were mad at those in power. Democrats have to get them mad at Republicans. It's not complicated.

Wow. ❤️

Gen. Milley on his pardon: "My family and I are deeply grateful for the President's action today. After 43 years of faithful service in uniform to our Nation … I do not wish to spend whatever remaining time the Lord grants me fighting those who unjustly might seek retribution for perceived slights."

There are still some normal people out there! ❤️💙❤️

NEW: Judge CHUTKAN is now weighing in on Trump's mass dismissal of Jan. 6 cases, saying it "cannot whitewash the blood, feces, and terror that the mob left in its wake." www.politico.com/news/2025/01...

We are in deep trouble. I signed on to FB yesterday morning and was notified that I was now following JD Vance. (I blocked him immediately.) A friend told me they were notified that T. Rump had updated his profile pic. Do you see what’s happening?

Adam Parkhomenko@adamparkhomenko.bsky.social

CNN’s boss told the anchors not to mention Trump being a convicted felon or twice impeached and Jake Tapper said yessir just tell me how much orange ass you want me to kiss!

New on MSNBC: Vice President Harris will fly back to Los Angeles today with an all-female U.S. Air Force crew — the first time an all-female crew has operated a C-33.   Upon landing, Harris will visit a local fire station and then distribute food to community members impacted by the wildfires.

I don’t think I can take much more. I just feel deflated.

The Supreme Court ruled corporations were allowed to donate unlimited amounts to politicians in 2010. It only took them 6 years to take complete control of the government and 15 years to mark sure their voices are the only ones the masses ever hear again.

Brett Kavanaugh will administer the Oath of Office for JD Vance on Monday. I can't help but think of @lebassett.bsky.social's piece about how Trump's presidency is revenge for #MeToo. (Some have argued that #MeToo played a role in young men voting for Trump). www.thecut.com/article/trum...
