Sofi

Mark your calendars!

So excited to share I'm Supervising Director and Writer on Knights of Guinevere ⚔️ This opportunity is serendipitous in so many ways but mainly because I get to work with friends on a truly gorgeous production. An artist's dream!

I think we’re long past the “ai bad because of stealing” argument and fully in the “ai is also actively and tangibly destroying our planet why are you even trying to use it as an art tool at this point” stage

Pick it up

“Creative breakthroughs happen when visionary storytellers are given access to transformative tools”-- Actually, creative breakthroughs happen when people don't have to drink brown water from data center waste. This is not cool or accessible, this is disingenuous & disappointing.

Don’t let the fear of being bad at something keep you from getting good at it. Don’t use AI. It’s not a tool. It’s a creativity killer.

The big one

You could give everything to the world and someone would still say “you didn’t fucking do enough for /me/ specifically in the way I wanted to interpret it.”

Excited about the future. Working on things I love and am proud of being a part of. Feels good to create. Gotta keep that in mind 💖

Sketchbook stuff

Today is historyofhyrule.com 23rd Anniversary! I launched the site & committed to the efforts of locating & preserving Zelda art & publications, fan translations, & pushing for official books & localizations, back in 2002! I want to thank so many of you for making it such a joyous experience!

#Portfolioday - love a wide range of stuff but mostly colors, horror, environments and weird things. I’ve done promo, cover art and more (TTRPG, events, book cover - future!) and am very interested in doing more of that 💖 #art

I’ve made a terrible mistake. I’ve done too much writing and haven’t drawn in weeks. I’m rusty and I’m afraid to doodle. Gotta do it though. Gotta get all the crummy drawings out first.

#nationalunicornday 🙏🦄

Have a pair of mermaids, as a little treat.

Bro, I swear I only find out about anything Onyx Equinox-related from fans. This collector's edition has a 36-page booklet with art from production. Who was gonna let me know? Also, there's a high chance I don't even have half of the art there since CR 'lost' the files. Anyway... yay? #onyxequinox

Thank you for the art share 😆✨👹 I might share some stabby horses, having disagreements in a sensible and civil manner.

More TTRPG character designs! I've taken Diarmuid and plopped him for a guest appearance in this universe. Will share some more details on his story as the game progresses ✨ #hotdq #ttrpg #oc #charactersheet #diarmuid #dnd

@ ARTISTS!!! (PLEASE REPOST FOR AWARENESS) if you are unable to use glaze or nightshade for whatever reason, please protect your art by using art shield. it's a free service that takes minutes, and can run on mobile as it is browser based! artshield.io#services

Digimon Adventure: Our War Game turns 25 today. It's a movie that I really love, especially due to how much it feels like a love letter to its own audience and the generation that grew up on the show.
